Sanjana wasn't really into listening the chatters of Sia.
Yes!The same girl who had run away from her wedding with Raj.
Sia was bragging about the latest diamond ring she wore.
"....So,you see Romi managed to bring for me this rare piece.It must be worth in millions."
Sanjana turned to look at her finger.
It was a simple vintage style ring.Just the piece that was engraved on it wasn't ordinary.
Sia's eyes widened at Sanjana's ring and she forcefully took her hand to examine her ring.
Her mouth fell open at its brilliance shine and said,"....Oh my!!!This piece is worth in billions!!I saw it last year in exhibition of expensive jewellery and it was even featured in the world's famous magazine...."
Sanjana zoned out.It was least of her concerns.
Atleast for now!
Sanjana abruptly stood up and said,"Sia,I am sorry but I have an appointment,we will discuss your house's designing tomorrow.Okay?"
Sia snorted and said,"Whatever.I know you are jealous that you could never get a guy like Romi but...."
Sanjana rolled her eyes and started walking away from Sia's voice.
As her heels clinked with tiles,her heart raced.
Her stomach churned and she felt nauseous.
She felt absolutely nervous.
Her phoned pinged indicating a new message.She stopped walking to look at her phone.
"Arriving at 7 today :) ;)"
-Raj.
She smiled as she remembered that Raj was returning from his trip.
Since last week,Raj had been tensed about the deal.He had been working late,formulating new ideas,making more of ppts and etc...
But thankfully,the deal was done.
She was glad that he was returning now.
As she walked into the alley of her building,she felt the cold chills around her.She wrapped her stole around her neck and tightened her coat around her petite body.
She briskly walked into her office and was pleasantly surprised seeing a bouquet of ....

........
...........
Not red roses.
But bouquet of pens.
Sanjana laughed softly before she turned her gaze at the note stuck to it.
"I know it was useless to send you red roses as you would later keep it in vase.Atleast the pens will be used.
-Raj"
Sanjana wondered why was Raj suddenly sending her bouquets.
She shook her head.Maybe he was feeling really like gifting something to her.
Or maybe he was trying to compensate the time he had lost this week.
Afterall,Raj was a weird personality.
Half of the staff had left and few were leaving.
Sanjana worked and signed some deals before her gaze felt at her drawer.
She looked around and closed the door by putting a bolt.
She carefully opened the drawer and took out the box.
It was carefully wrapped box with a ribbon stuck in the shape of bow. She looked at it again before she shoved the box inside her purse.
She went to check her appearance and truly enough,she had paled.
Dark circles had developed and her skin texture had changed a bit. She checked her watch to see that it was 6:30 pm already.
She booked a cab,took her belongings and double checked the gift.She wasn't sure how Raj would really react as.

She walked into her home with her coat slung loosely in her arms as she entered her homes.She took out her heels and sworn not to wear it for few days as her feet ached. She let her hair flow freely as she untied the ribbon that had binded her hair into some style.As she walked into her room,she gasped.
It was decorated.
Red roses,red candles,red bedsheets,red ...........

There was too much red.

Sanjana had developed dislike for red suddenly as she took into look at her orange room.She didn't like this change.
She muttered,"Raj!!"
And then she heard silent curses as Raj spoke silently to himself,"Should not have heard from Khushi.I should have noticed her mischievous grin!"
Khushi the culprit!I will catch you soon!
Sanjana thought wistfully before turning her gaze toward Raj who looked guilty.
As she gazed at him,he shrugged and said,"What?I just wanted to compensate for the time we were apart?I asked Khushi for idea and she suggested Red would be good for today.I mean I told her that you are not like normal girls who like red but she insisted it would be fun..Oh wait!She meant it would be fun to watch my expressions after this!That girl..."
Sanjana laughed out loud,before blinking rapidly and saying,"What's today?"
Raj gasped and said,"Sanjana !!You don't remember what is today?"
Sanjana shook her head while Raj looked disappointed.
Raj lifted his gaze to meet her confused brown eyes as she stared at him expectantly.
He slowly said,"14 Feb."
Sanjana blinked again before saying,"So?I mean 14 date comes every month....Infact..."
Raj interrupted and said,"Sanjana!14 Feb!Valentine's day?Does it ring a bell?"
Sanjana continued her rant before realising,"Infact..every month has Atleast 28 Days.....wait 14 Feb,....Valentines day?Oh no!"
Raj looked at her surprised at her reaction as she started pacing.
It was unusual for her.He tried to assure her,"Hey it's okay!"
Sanjana shook her head and said,"No it's not okay!I am forgetting!I mean how irrespective of you caring for me,I am not doing anything for you..."
And she started crying.
Raj stood shocked as she started ranting about all her mistakes.He tried to assure her it was okay,but all was vain.
She cried and cried.
Until she suddenly stopped crying and shoved the gift box to Raj.
Raj was surprised.
Again.
Sanjana said with a hint of doubt,"Open it Raj,Until you don't see this,I will be under stress and I will keep ranting."
He could see that she was scared.
Or maybe nervous?
He nodded and slowly opened the ribbon.He carefully was tearing up the wrapper when Sanjana snatched and said,"How can you open something so slowly?"
She muttered something while Raj frowned.
Why was she adamant that he must open it fast?
She tore open the wrapped in a second and shoved the box back to him.
Raj looked sceptically at her before opening the box.
As his eyes fell on the object,he was shocked.
He looked at Sanjana and asked with hopeful eyes,"Is it really true?"
Sanjana shyly nodded.
He looked at it again.
Sanjana was pregnant.
Sanjana waited for him to burst out at her or atleast be happy that he is going to be dad.
But what happened next shocked her.

Raj had fainted from the joy of being dad.

Sanjana shook her head and threw a whole jug of water to wake him up.

Raj woke up and straightway twirled Sanjana around shouting,"I am going to be a dad!You are going to be a mom!"
Sanjana smiled and laughed.
Undoubtedly,14 Feb was special for them not because of valentine but because of this news.

Somehow life had entangled them in a marriage,
And now they were entangled with their happiness and errr...weird habits.
