Jason's POV
I could faintly feel someone shaking me by the arm but my eyes remained tightly closed. I also thought I may have been able to hear someone saying "Jason" but I was still too far out of it to know for sure. Then Eclipse was suddenly blasting in my ear, now that I definitely heard, no doubt about it! My eyes shot open revealing Ty standing right in front of my face. I propped myself up on my elbow as Ty shut off Eclipse. "Dude!" I half said half yelled. "Was that really necessary?!"
Ty laughed. "Yes, yes it was." I rolled my eyes. "But seriously, your little girlfriend will be here any minute.
"Oh, shut up." I threw a pillow at his face. "I just met her yesterday, I don't even know if you can call us friends yet."
"Whatever, but you might wanna get out of bed and make yourself look at least decent."
I glanced at the clock on my nightstand. Crap, 10:05. Kota was supposed to be here around 10. I threw off the covers on my bed and rushed past Ty and into the bathroom. I could here Ty laughing behind me at my sudden outburst of energy to get ready. He could be such a child sometimes, who am I kidding, he practically is a child!
Ty's POV
Yeah, Jason definitely likes that girl, Kota? Yeah, that's her name. Every time I bring her up in a conversation he stutters like mad. We've known each other long enough to know that him stuttering usually meant he really liked a girl. I smiled and shook my head slightly as I jogged down the stairs. I was heading for the kitchen when I heard the doorbell ring. When I glanced out the window I noticed it was pouring rain outside so I practically ran across the house to get to the front door.
I swung the door open to reveal a girl patiently waiting on the front porch. "Oh hey, you must be Kota." I smiled.
She looked up at me. "Oh, um, hi. You must be Deadlox, er, Ty." I could tell she was trying hard to contain her excitement over meeting me IRL but I had to admit, she was pretty good at keeping her cool.
"Yep, dats me!" I looked her all up and down. "Oh, come on in, you're soaked!"
She entered the house. "Thanks, but I'm not that wet since I'm wearing this." She picked at her rain jacket.
"Let me take that for you." She smiled gratefully and pulled off her jacket, handing it to me and I hung it on a hook by the door.
I led her to the living room and I plopped down on the couch, she sat in a chair across from me. "Jason slept in a little late so he's still upstairs. He'll be down soon."
She nodded as she glanced around the room, taking it in. "Okay, uh, do you know what we're recording?"
"I think it's called the Lost Potato or something strange like that."
"Uh ok? How did you..."
I cut her off. "Don't ask, it was just a random map on the forums."
"All right then,"
It was silent for a few seconds. "I looked up your youtube channel and I have to say, I really enjoyed your videos."
"Oh, thanks. That means a lot coming from a big minecraft youtuber like you."
"You're welcome. But 100,000 subscribers plus is amazing! You'll find yourself up with me and the gang soon." She smiled at the thought. I have to say, I see why Jason likes her, she's pretty darn cute. But I already have an amazing girlfriend.
Jason eventually rushed down the steps and into the living room. "Hey, Kota, what's..." He stopped when he saw Kota and the two of them stared at each other for a minute. They were both wearing the same TrueMU t shirt and a grey beanie. I looked at them staring at each other and laughed.
