Kota's POV
I walked into Jason's kitchen (I spent a lot of time at his house now) and saw him sitting at the dining table pressing a washcloth soaked with warm water up to his eye, attempting to play games on his phone with one hand. I laughed at his irritated and frustrated expression as I walked up to him and kissed his cheek. "How's your eye?" I asked as I pulled away and went over to the fridge.
"It's better. Not as swollen. How are you doing?" He sighed and set his phone on the table but keeping the washcloth by his, uh, injury.
"I'm good, just hungry. What do you want for lunch?" I smiled as I turned back to him.
"Doesn't matter, I probably don't have much anyway."
I laughed and pulled our some bread, cheese, and turkey and set to work making some simple sandwiches. I set each of them on one if the two plates I had set in the counter and rummaged through the fridge again until I found a bowl of cut up fruit which I set on the table with a spoon. Then I grabbed a bag if chips, setting that by the fruit and carried the plates over to the table, sitting down across from Jason.
He smiled. "Thanks." He stood up and walked over to the kitchen sink where he draped his wash cloth over the faucet before sitting back down and biting into his sandwich. "Oh uh, I was wondering. Do you have any idea as to why Lindsay knocked you out, you know, besides the fact that she's crazy?"
I thought for a moment before shaking my head. "Uh, no, I don't..." Then I gasped.
"What?"
I pulled out my cell phone and went to my recent text messages. I scrolled through them until I found the texts from the unknown number. I noticed there was a third one there I hadn't seen before. "I told you to keep away from Jason. You didn't listen so get ready to face the consequences." I left that message and went to the first one that was sent. I turned my phone so Jason could see it. "Do you recognize this number?"
He read the text and gasped at what it said then he looked at the number and nodded. "Yep, that's Lindsay's number."
I showed him the other two texts and I could tell he was getting pissed off at Lindsay all over again. I put my hand on his. "Jason, it's okay. She was arrested, no need to worry about her anymore."
He nodded. "So, she knew about us before she came here."
I nodded as I tried to understand how she knew. Then it hit me, Starbucks. Lindsay was the person who had been watching me there. Everything then fit together and became clear. I told Jason what I remembered and he nodded.
When we finished lunch I rinsed off our dishes and then went on twitter and noticed a bunch of tweets relating to the picture Ty had posted of Jason and I kissing. I was able to fit them all into three categories. One, saying how cute we looked together. Two, hate, but I ignored that. Three, asking if we were actually a couple. Then I realized something.
"Jason!" I called from the living room to his room where he was playing around with hexxit.
"Yeah?"he walked out of his room.
"I just realized something."
He walked up to me and hugged me from behind. "And what might that be?"
"We never made a YouTube video about us being a, I guess, a thing."
"Oh wow, you're right. Wanna do that now?"
I nodded and we began setting up a camera. Jason began talking. "Hello stars and welcome... Wait, that intro really doesn't work in an irl video." I laughed and shook my head. "Well anyway, this is Jason and today I am doing an irl video with someone special." He looked at me and smiled. "Guys, this is Minecraft Goddess, or Kota." I waved and smiled at the camera. "So basically, we are here to tell you that, well, most if you probably saw Ty's picture on twitter. That picture was of Kota and I. Yes, we are a couple now. And I am incredibly happy to have her here with me." He leaned over and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. Well that made a bunch of fangirls jealous! Jason and I continued talking about things like PAX and meet ups that we might plan with the rest of the gang. Then Jason, coming to the end of the video, said "and if you're wondering about my eye, that is something that happened involving my personal life and I'd rather not talk about it, so don't ask. And so that's about it. Seeya guys." He waved.
I smiled again and waved. "Bye, and I can't wait to meet you guys at PAX!"
A/N
Whasup guys? Sorry for the short chapter, it was kind of a filler, but two chapters in one day! I think that counts for something. Not the most exciting chapter but they're going to PAX sometime in the next couple chapters so hopefully that'll be more exciting. Also I got 100 reads yesterday and now I reached 200 reads today! Thank you guys so much and I hope you've enjoyed the book so far. More updates soon! Peace out!
