The Tears

- Rey's view -

I run towards General Leia's room, I have looked everywhere but I haven't found Ben. Fear is pumping through my veins, I hope he hasn't done anything drastic. I regret what happened so much, I should have seen it coming, I should have stopped it sooner. I finally arrive at General Leia's house, and I stop at the for to catch my breath. I knock. I hear shuffling on the other side of the door, and the sound of the lock sliding open. The door opens to reveal General Leia, with being red puffy eyes.

"Rey dear." She says, she tries to smile, but it does not stay on her face long. "How are you?"

"I'm fine. You on the other hand are not, tell me what is wrong." I reply to her.

"It's nothing that won't get better dear, now you came here for what reason?" She says changing the subject. Whatever is bothering her, is extremely personal.

"Oh yes." I say, "I was wondering if you know where Ben is."

"Didn't he tell you?" She responds as she lifts an eyebrow, clearly in shock.

"Tell me what?" I ask, a hint of panic in my voice.

"That he left to train with Luke, he told me..." She explains. As soon as those words came out of her mouth, I felt my whole world shatter. My ears start to ring, and everything that General Leia says is a blur. I have lost him, and it might be for good now. I remember training with Master Luke, he took me to one of the most remote planets out there, no one knew where we were. Now I have no way of finding him.

"Rey dear, are you all right?" Those words bring me out of my thunder storm of thoughts.

"Huh? Oh yes, I'm fine. Do you happen to know where they are?" I ask. There might still be a chance that I can find Ben.

"No dear, it's top secret." She says with a grin, "my own brother won't even tell me. Are you quiet sure that you are all right?" She asks one last time.

"Oh yes, I am fine. I just need to lie down." I say as I leave, I don't hear what General Leia says after, I don't even remember walking into the elevator, and towards my door. All I remember are the tears that are flooding my eyes. They blur my vision, and my heart feels empty. I have messed everything up. I have to fix this somehow. But how?
