My heart is pounding so hard that I can barely hear him speak. This cannot be happening. This is just a dream, it has to be.

"We are ready supreme leader" Hux's booming voice says.

Just then I see a shadow start to form from the ground up. I want to look away, but for some reason I cannot. Just then, I hear rustling coming from in front of me, Ben is awake.

"Rey?" Ben says "What are we doing here."

I open my mouth to answer, but I am cut off by Snoke's voice. "Kylo Ren, welcome back."

"I am not Kylo Ren anymore." Ben spits back.

"But you soon shall be." Snoke says back, so calm it becomes disturbing.

Ben looks at me confused, not knowing what we are about to face. I want to explain to him, but I do not want our last moments together to be sad. "I love you." I say, fighting back the tears.

"I love you too Rey, but what is happening?" Ben asks.

Before I could answer, a stabbing pain engulfs all of my body, and seconds later everything turns black.

I wake up expecting to be back at home rolled up in my covers, with Ben's arms around me. Instead I am greeted by a cold, dark room. Chains wrap around my arms, holding me tightly to a chair. I hear boots stomping towards me, Hux.

"There has been a change of plans." He says, smiling. "I was going to torture you, and then make you forget Kylo, but I decided not to do any of that."

I look at him stunned, is he showing me mercy?

"I know of a way to make your life miserable. I will not make you forget Kylo, I will let you remember every little moment you had with him. I will let you live every single day of your life with the thought that you could have had a wonderful life together. And I will make Kylo pursue you so that every time you see him, it will cause you nothing but pain and suffering. That is what I am going to do." Hux spits as he walks away chuckling to himself. Then everything turns black, and that searing pain returns taking all of my happiness away.

After hours of walking, I finally reach the base. It is almost completely dark. I honestly don't know how much time has passed since the attack, but I really hope that it hasn't been too long, I don't want to worry anyone.

"Finn" I say, I have to keep calm.

"Where were you? We have been looking for you for two days now." Finn says, relief flooding his eyes. "And where is Ben? Wasn't he with you?"

His name stings, I don't even bother responding. I begin to walk towards the entrance taking long strides desperate to get to the comfort of my home. I need another day to process, I still cannot say it out loud. Unfortunately, Finn out runs me.

"What happened to Ben?" He asks as he steps in front of me. He places a hand on my shoulder, and rubs his thumb back and forth.

"They took him." I mumble looking at the ground.

"Who took him Rey?" Finn asks.

"Hux did." I say, I feel the anger begin to consume me, I want to destroy him, I want to make him suffer. I want to take everything that he holds dear away from him and crush it into a million tiny pieces. But a little voice inside of my head holds me back, and tells me not to. Those thoughts belong to the dark side, I have to stay calm if I ever want to see Ben again.

Finn doesn't say anything, instead he stares at the ground. I guess he catches a glance at my hand because he reaches for it and lifts it up.

"He proposed?" Finn asks.

I just nod, even this ring causes me pain.

"Finally, he had been nagging to me about it all day." Finn replies, smiling at the memory. "The music was my idea."

"Thank you, it was very lovely, while it lasted." I say.

The only thing left from our love is this diamond ring. When I look at it I remember all the moments that we shared, all our ups and downs. Im not even sue if Ben will remember those moments, but I have to find him, and save him. He would have done the same.
