Today James was finally at school. I talked to him for a little, but he seemed more distant than usual. I'm sure it was all in my head.

Today a guy walked up to me while I was at my locker and started talking to me. It was really weird no guy at this school usually talks to me. He asked me to sit with him, but I decided to eat in the library like I always do.

My first few classes went ok, but then it was time for study hall. I noticed the boy that was talking to me was sitting a few seats away. When he noticed me, he started walking over.

"Hey, I didn't realize we were in the same study hall."

"Yeah weird."

"So we I to lunch next, were you thinking of sitting with me?"

"Well, I really like eating in the library."

"Ok, that's cool we can talk now."

"Talk?" I was never one to talk much or carry on a conversation with someone.

"Yeah, what do you like to do?"

"Well I like to read."

"That's cool, what else?"

"That's about it."

"Oh."

"What's your name?"

"Laden."

"That's a cool name."

"Yeah I guess."

He had blonde hair, that was just long enough to show curls. He had blue eyes, and he was about average height but taller than me.

The bell rang for study hall to be over, and I quickly walked out the door. I got my lunch and went into the library.

I finished my lunch and read my book, as James walked in. I continued to read my book, as the librarian started putting the books that people have returned on shelves.

She moved over by my table and set a pile of books on the other end of the table. She was finishing up putting the books away as I neared the end of my book.

The end, I thought as I closed my book after finishing it and the librarian finished putting books on the shelves by me, and she walked away. She left a book on my desk.

"Hey you forgot this-" I started until I saw the post it note on the cover with my very name on it.

I walked up to the librarian and asked where she got it, but she just shrugged her shoulders and put her fingers to her lips and motioned that she zipped her mouth and threw away the key.

I opened the book to start reading it, when the bell rang and study hall was over. I got through the rest of my classes and got home. When I got home, I helped out around the house and then went to bed.
