'Lillian get your lazy arse out of bed! Dad has made us breakfast!' I heard my little sister Gracie yell from the doorway. She is 8 years old and already swears. She can be a real... how do I day this nicely? Brat sometimes. I was then left with the slam of a door and the sound of her footsteps walking down the hall.
I forced myself out of my bed and headed for the door. As I went down stairs I pulled my long blonde messy hair into a messy bun. The sudden smell of bacon and pancakes filled the air. As I made my way to the kitchen I saw Gracie sitting in her normal seat, squirting more than enough syrup on her pancakes. My dad had his back to me while I made more pancakes.
'Morning Dad.' I greeted him, in responce he turned around greeting me with a smile.
'Look Gracie, the bear woke up from hybernation.' He joked causing Gracie to giggle a little.
'Har, har very funny.' I said rolling my eyes and grabbing my plate off the counter. I made my way to my seat across from Gracie. Taking my fork i shoved a bit in my mouth. Lovely like always.
'How is it?' Dad asked as he sat down his own plate.
'Delicious like normal.' I said shoving another piece into my mouth.
'So Gracie, you know that band you like? What's there name again? Two Direction?' My dad said automatically catching my littlee sisters attention.
'No Daddy! It's One Direction!' She corrected him.
'One direction, Two Directions. It doesn't matter to me, I'm not the one whose going to be seeing them tonight at there concert.' He said with a laugh.
Gracie looked up at him eyes wide and a smile on her face. 'You serious Daddy?' The excitement was as clear as day in her voice.
'As serious as it gets sweetheart.' He smiled and then procceded to grab something from his back pocket. I watched amused at the sight in front of me but, also wondering if he was joking or not. It was confirmed when he pulled the tickets out showing them to my sister. The excitement was overwhelming.
I was munching on my bacon when my dad asked 'Lil you don't mine taking Gracie do you?'
'Umm... Not at all?' I replied in more of a question. Here's the thing, I wouldn't really call myself a fan, I like there music and they are all very attractive but it's not really my thing.
I took the tickets from my dads hand scanning the infomation. Great, it wasn't to far from out house as we already life in london and it doesn't start until 6:30. We have plenty of time.
Gracie then got up and ran towards my dad, she flung her arms around his neck before planting a kiss on his cheek screaming 'Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.' Turning to face me with the smile wipped away she began to speak. 'Don't ruin my chance with marrying Harry Lil! I'm serious!' She exclaimed.
'How can I? You didn't have a chance.' I muttered quiet enough that she didn't hear me.
Gracie was still babbling on about how excited she was as she skipped out of the kitchen singing Little Things. Of course it would be One Direction. They have invested my sisters mind.
I got up and grabbed the plates then headed for the sink. I then rinsed them off before sticking them in to the dishwasher. I love that thing!
'I could have done that sweetheart but thank you. And thank you for taking your sister tonight.' He said rinsing off his own plate before putting it in the dishwasher.
'Dad, you know I like to help whenever I can.' I smiled as I gave him a hug. He said thank you again as i made my way to my room. I do love my dad.
