Cyclamen: Resignation and Good-bye
Power house schools dont like it when you are really good at volleyball, apparently. As they told me the news, my hands slowly reached for my hair, twirling it stressfully.
"Since you were Japan's best junior high volleyball player, we hate to inform you that the school district doesn't want you to play on such a skilled team. You have to choices. Either quite the volleyball team, or play at a different school until your second year," the principle nervously stated. I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes, and I tried to hold them back.
"C-can I suggest something else," I quitely inquired. He nodded, so I kept speaking. "How about I stay for two months, then go to the other school for five. Then i spend the rest of that school year back here."
"But, thats only half of a school ye-"
"I wasn't finished sir. Then, I spend 4 months here in my second year, five at the other school, and then finish the last month back at Nekoma. That way, its still a year, but I can still play for the team."
"I guess I'll have to agree. We do want such a powerful player on our team," he said happily.
Two Months Later:
"I-I'll miss you guys," I stammered, tears rolling down my cheeks. Kuroo engulfed me in a hug. I pulled away, and noticed that 'he' wasnt there.
"W-where is he?"
"H- oh. Still refering to him like that. There is no one with is that shouldn't kno-"
"I think you forgot the readers," I informed him. He nodded, and patted me on the head.
"I'll miss you," he confessed, a single tear rolling down his cheek. I wiped it off with my sleeve, and smiled sadly. We were interrupted by the sound of a car's horn. I slowly walked to the bus, waiting for my departure. Good-bye Nekoma.
