(Yes this a filler. I'm going to keep this under 1000 words. This is mostly written on mobile so prepare for mistakes™)
I've always been told staring is rude. But in this moment, I couldn't seem to keep my eyes away. She just kept going, a never-ending cycle of determination and hard-work. I was entranced, my gaze locked onto her every move. Locked onto her.
I knew I was in love, there was no doubt, no turning back. She didn't know I was in love, yet she remained persistent to know why I kept staring. Why everytime she spoke I suddenly became unable to do so myself.

Asahi and I had decided on the park. The park was quiet, void of annoying teammates, and overall nostalgic and calming. I had chosen the bright yellow swing, it was replaced just a month ago, the chain no longer squeaky and loud. This left Asahi with the now-dark orange swing, the whole swing set loudly creaking each time he moved. "I'm afraid those chains might snap while you're in that damned death trap."
"Thanks."
"Thanks? Why not, 'that's stupid Kaori.' Gimme something that would really hurt!" I encouraged. He smiled, a smug grin hidden behind bright red cheeks.
"I won't insult you just to seem cool, Kaori-chan." I was slightly offended by his dismissal of my request. I truely only wanted to have some fun with him.
"That's totally not why! Besides, you're cool enough as is," I muttered. He turned to me, disbelief painted on his face.
"I am not cool."
"But you are!"
"Shut up."
"Hah, there ya go!" I yelled. He snickered, then reverting back to quiet, reserved Asahi.
"I'm sorry."
"No." I refused to let him feel bad. Especially when it's a spontaneous outburst of sad. He doesn't deserve that.
"I'm sorry."
"Please don't do this."
"Why do you even care?" I'm close to tears, where did this come from?
"I'm your friend, it's the least I can do. Please," I begged.
"Why do you even like someone like me?" He had stopped swinging. I dropped from my swing, latching myself onto him. No way would I let him feel this way. There were silent tears streaked across his face, almost undetectable. I wiped them away, leaving my hands on his shoulders as I pulled away. I pulled him up, making him lie on the grass.
"You're wonderful, Asahi-san."
"Never in a thousand years. 0% probability."
"Well I'll take that chance," I challenged. I closed my eyes, feeling the grass around me. I was allergic to grass.
"You're allergic to grass."
"I know." We lied there for what felt like days. That was, until a certain piece of shit found us.
"Hey, Kaori-chan!" a sly voice yelled from afar. "Oh, Azumane-san, you too!"
"What do you want Testurou-san?" I tiredly asked. A quiet snicker.
"I see you two getting all cozy in the middle of a public park... there are children! Where's your decency?" He teased. I groaned, sitting up.
"What are you going to do about it?"
"Call your mom and tell her you were getting freaky in the park." I was fully awake now, I could tell he wasn't kidding.
"Fine fine, what do you want from me?"
"I want you to, um, go home! And stop cuddling random boys. The only boy you should cuddle is Jesus!"
"Neither of us are Christian Testurou-san." I got up anyways. Asahi didn't look too pleased, I gave him an apologetic look, refusing to move. "We can't just leave Azumane!"
"He can take care of himself!" I glared at the cat. "UGH, fine. I'll call my mom and she can pick us up. But no more cuddling!" I nodded, glad that I wouldn't be leaving Asahi alone in an unfamiliar area.
Finally, after fifteen minutes of awkward silence, Kuroo's Mom appeared. I got into the front seat, leaving the guys in the back. Surprisingly, I didn't hear a single complaint. That was also due to the fact that I had brought earbuds with me. Once we got home, we had to wait about an hour or so before Asahi's mom would come to pick him up.
"Kuroo-san doesn't even live near the park," Asahi commented.
"I tweeted earlier, I must have had my location on."
"You know what, thats okay..." he then became distracted by something to my left. Kuroo's mom appeared in the doorway.
"You two are cute." I saw Asahi turn bright red.
"Ha, thanks?" I responded, nudging Asahi. He chuckled along, clearly uncomfortable. The door bell rang, and he immediately got up to leave. "Well this had been fun, see you later!" She waved goodbye, and I left to get back my house.
Kenma was sleeping on the couch with the cats, typical. I set out some food for them, and went back to my room.
I wonder what's next.
