Chapter 3 - Best Night

"I had a good time." She say shyly, looking at her feet. I silently begged her to look up. I wanted to see those blue eyes that I love.

"Me too." I winked.

We were standing in front of her door. We just got back from the mall, and it was getting late.

"Cody, can I kiss you?" I suddenly asked.

I was so stupid! How could I ask her that? It was too fast. I was just so used to seeing werewolf mates sucking each others faces off the first day they meet, that I thought it was okay for Cody and I to do the same. During the whole day at the mall those lips were tempting me. It was like they were begging me to press my lips to hers, singing 'Jace! Jace! Kiss me! You know you want to!' 

Her blue eyes darted to mine. "Y-you want to k-kiss me?" She whispered quietly.

Was she considering it? I licked my bottom lip, staring hers, then nodded.

Today I could tell she felt the bond we have. It's small, but it's there. It's only small because Brent is keeping her from me. Everyone in the pack knew I've been looking for my mate. It was only a matter of time before I make Cody fully mine, and we have wonderful children together. 

If I got what I wanted, Cody and I would have been fully mated already. Everytime she smiled, my wolf howled in admiration, and was begging me to take her. 

"Yes." She says.

I stood there shocked before her words fully went through my brain. After that, she was in my arms, and the tingles were everywhere. 

She looked up to me, and bit her bottom lip. I smiled and removed it gently from her white, straight teeth with my thumb. 

I took her face between my hands, and leaned down slowly. She closed her eyes, and I ended up closing mine too as our lips touched. Sparks flew, and her arms instantly wrapped around my neck as mine went down her body and around her small frame. She quietly moaned, and I felt my skinny jeans get tighter. Her fingers glided through my brown hair, and I hugged her closer. 

I swept my tongue across her bottom lip, and she instantly opened. When our tongues touched, it was like heaven. This girl is my everything. 

The front door suddenly opened, and Cody instantly pulled away from me. 

I lowly growled, and looked at who disturbed this amazing moment with my mate. Brent.

"House." He told Cody. 

She took a step forward, but I pulled her back. "She doesn't have to listen to you." I say.

"Brent, leave them alone." Luke groaned, walking up behind him.

Brent let out a defeated sigh, and walked into the house. 

Luke winked my way, and shut the door again. 

I wrapped my arms around Cody's waist from behind and rested my chin on her shoulder. 

"Sorry about Brent. He's like an over protective brother." She giggled, and leaned into my chest.

It felt so right having her in my arms. If I died right now, I'd be the happiest man on Earth. Not a doubt in my mind.

"It's okay." I leaned forward and pressed my lips to her cheek. "I'll pick you up before school tomorrow." 

"No need. Brent normally drives us. I'll see you in class okay?" She pulls away, then turns around. Showing me her electric blue eyes.

"Or earlier." I smile, grabbing her waist, and pulling her closer.
