Chapter 10 - Meet the Mates

(Jace)

"Jace! No! Put me down!" Cody laughed as I threw her over my shoulder.

"Not a chance in hell, babe!" I laughed with her. 

"Don't drop my sister, Jace." Luke said, towing Jaden down the street with us.

I nodded at my pack member and kept Cody over my shoulder. She was hitting my back and squirming around like crazy. "Cody you need to stop squirming or I will drop you." I warned, holding her legs down.

"Put me down so I know where we're going!" 

"We're going to the pack house so we can introduce you and your brother as Jaden and I's mates." I told her.

"What?! No! No! I'll get shunned!" Jaden started to walk backwards, pulling Luke with him. "They don't want a gay alpha! I can't have any kids! Jace, you're alpha! I'm stepping down, and taking Luke and we're running away!" 

"You take my baby brother away from me, I'll kick your ass, Jaden!" Cody screams.

"You can't take me away from my sister, Jaden." Luke pouts.

"Fine. I'll go on my own."

"Jaden, you aren't going anywhere. They'll accept you, and your mate. Just because you can't have pups, doesn't mean anything. We'll probably have Cody and I's pups be alpha."

"Cody won't be having your 'pups' mister!" My beautiful mate called.

"Cody will be having my pups when we're married and are ready for the responsibilty." I roll my eyes. 

Don't blame me. The first time I saw her, I wanted to take her in a janitors closet and just take her, and have her carry my pups. It's natural for males.

"Keep dreaming." I heard her mutter.

I smile at the fact that she's wrong. The passion we have for each other is strong, and sooner or later I will get her in my bed to make sweet love to her. 

"Please, can we just introduce them to Cody? Luke and I can just act like we always do." Jaden pleaded, a hopeful smile on his face. 

We stopped just as we stepped foot onto the pack house driveway. From the amount of cars around, I think everyone was here for dinner.

I looked over at Luke to see a pained expression on his face, and his eyes held sadness. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that he felt that his mate was ashamed of him. 

"Are you ashamed of my brother, asshole?!" Cody screeched, squirming against my hold.

"No! I would never be ashamed of my mate, I'm just...I don't want my father, or my pack to be ashamed of me."

"Listen to me." Luke growled, stepping in front of Jaden, making him stop. "You love me right?" Jaden nodded. "Prove it. I want you to walk into that damn house, and flaunt your sexuality like it's anyones buisness. Shout it. Don't be ashamed of me, Jaden."

I set Cody down on her feet, and hugged her close to me while she wrapped her arms around my waist, and rest her head on my chest.

This is an intense moment for my alpha. He has to choose between his mate or his pack. I know right now the Hell Pack means the world to him, but wheather or not Luke means more to him, I'm not sure. I would hope so, or my fiesty little electric blue eyed mate would rip off his balls and feed them to a hippo. 

"I could never be ashamed of you, Luke." Jaden said quietly.

"Show me." Luke held his hand out to Jaden.
