(Jace)

Something moved next to me, and my eyes shot open, only to see my beautiful angel.

I wrapped my arms around her small waist, and pulled her closer to my chest. "Morning beautiful." I say, sleep still in my voice.

She let out a laugh, and it automatically made my day. It may be early in the morning, but that will get me through all the shit I have going on today. Pack meetings and more meetings. Apparently, some hunters had found our pack house, and we need to find a new location to fit everyone in the pack.

"Morning." She says quietly.

I look over at her bedside table to see the time. We woke up an hour before school started.

"I need to go." I say, struggling to let go of Cody.

She turned towards me, and pouted. "Why."

I smile, then leant down to press her soft lips to mine, then pulled away. "Hour before school. Luke will be up at any moment, and I don't need the 'You hurt my sister I'll kick your ass.' speech right now." I chuckled.

She let out another laugh, and kissed my cheek. "Luke is cool."

"I bet, but I still need to go. I'll pick you up for school. You and Luke."

Cody thinks for a minute before nodding.

My wolf howls in excitment, and I give her a huge smile. She is the best thing in my life, and I don't plan on losing her to some werewolf hating human named Brent. Little douche. How can people hate werewolves? The hunters just think we're killers, and can't live among humans. This was something we need to work out with the hunters at this meeting.

"Okay, you can give me a ride to school, but I got plans after with Brent." She says, removing the blankets from her small body that I loved so much.

"Brent?" I ask through clenched teeth, glaring at her floor.

"Yes. He's still my best friend."

I took a deep breath. "Then I'll see you later?" I got out from under the covers and threw on my shirt.

"Yes you will." She smiled, then walked over to me. I wrapped my arms around her erfect form, and kissed her forhead. She sighed, and rested her head on my chest.

"Great. Pick you up in twenty. Be ready." I pulled away from her, and instanly felt cold.

"I'll wake Luke up now then." She laughed, then walked out of her room.

She looked so sexy in her black short shorts and cammi.

I slowly went to her window, and jumped out. I went to her back yard, took off my clothes, and changed into my midnight blue wolf. My color of wolf is very rare. My father told me there's only four left of us in the world, so it's best I stay safe. My safety doesn't matter to me anymore. I only care about Cody's. She's my everything as of yesterday.

I was so engrossed in my thoughts, I didn't realise I changed, and walked into the pack house.

"Jace! Where have you been?! We need to prepare for this meeting after school!" Jaden yelled as I made my way up the steps.

"I was with Cody, and talk to me about it later. I need to pick up my mate and her brother." I smiled to myself at the thought of seeing my mate later.

"Dude. You have to stay home! We need to work this out with the hunters!"

"I need to see her, Jaden." I turn to face him on the bottom step.
