Second day, fresh start. Or so I thought. I entered the school gates with my mood spiraling south. I woke up badly, no small talk or even a small greeting from my parents and my bratty siblings are the center of attraction. As usual. I was in a very bad mood this morning that I ignored bacon and eggs. Who does that, really.

I just wanna crawl in a hole and hope the earth will eat me whole and save me from my responsibilities. Shit. I even have to work with her after class. I'm contemplating suicide but I'm scared of blades so ha ha to me. I just hope this day will end quickly. Or else I'll lose my temper and jump off the building. Maybe not, I'm scared of heights. Fuck my life.

First subject and she's shimmering like the fucking sun. Tone it down with the cheerfulness, what she even ate this morning. She's greeting everyone and she's all smiles like she really ran for president. Is she usually like this? If so, I wanna transfer.

"Hi vice", she patted my back. I flinched away, face distorted to disgust, "Don't touch me, woman". She chuckled daintily, like that'll fool anyone. I hear girls like her usually act like slobs and pigs out when no one's around. I'm pretty sure she's that breed. "You know, you'll work with me from now on. I'll be calling the shots so, please be careful of what you say and do and I might consider mercy", she winks at me. I knew it. She's hell spawn.

"What kind of torture you'll even do? I mean, I still ask you for permission so that's basically more work for you", I smiled maliciously. She nodded and faked a sob. "Guess what, I posted in the hallways to come to you about club registration", she smiled innocently. I frowned but tried to comfort myself that not much people will make clubs. After all, it's a load of work.

I wanna state a comeback but class started and everything went smoothly that I forgot I'm supposed to be in a bad mood. It's actually calming, the math teacher's voice soothing me, lulling me to sleep. Of course, I'd try to stay awake even though I've reviewed the entire textbook after I received them.

The day was going great until it had to end. Meaning, I have to deal with satan's offspring in the council's office. "Are you ready for action?", she grinned, that annoying red ribbon bouncing on her head whenever she moved.

"Bring it on", I challenged.

"Okay", she smiled contentedly and I winced. She led the way towards the office and opened the doors. Dramatically. Like she opened the double doors and a gust of wind blowing in. Wtf nature.

I looked around and it's almost like the principal's office but with four desks, the other one being in the center. With the nameplate President. Wow, freaking attention seeker like the person who'll occupy it. I noticed two other people staring at us, I believe they're sophomores. Just a wild guess, I don't really know what level they are.

"Yo, I heard you're the new pres, and the vice pres", the taller one with a huge smile plastered on his face winked. "I'm Alberto Chang, the treasurer", he added. Doesn't look too trustworthy for me.

The small girl beside him, probably just my shoulder level smiled shyly at us, "I'm Thea Albarez, the secretary". She hid half of her face with the clipboard, eyes at us. She's probably freshman.

Devil's spawn smiled at them, welcomed them like she hired them as henchmen. I merely nodded, I shook their hands and proceeded to my small desk place. It was almost voided with anything but a small pile of papers in front of me. Before I picked them up, Thea spoke, "They're the club applications". I thanked her and thumbed each application, mentally counting them. About 40 applications. I frowned then smiled wickedly.

What if I'll just deny them all without looking? That'll make things easier-

"Hey, we'll work together. Let's go through each club application", devil spawn said, smile bright and red ribbon bouncing like cockroach antennas. I smiled back at her, dripping with sarcasm, "Oh, isn't this your job in the first place?". She made her smile wider, she made it possible because she's not human, "Oh, I already declared that you're doing this, be glad I'm helping you".

Helping me? Fuck, this is your duty as president you lil shit.

I clenched my teeth, grip tightening. I started while she twirled her hair, nodding along saying approved. It went on and I'm starting to think she's not listening. So I did a little test.
"Next club is an exorcist club, duties are exorcising of the devils walking this earth. Commonly devils with red ribbon on her head and grin-like death", I spoke in monotone, the same tone I've been using for the past hour.

She looked up for the first time and frowned at me. Well, she's listening then. "Are you referring to me?", her tone is shocked and somehow sounded a little hurt. If she's capable of that. She stands up, throwing back the chair she was sitting on. I looked around looking for Thea and Al for help in case she eats me alive but I forgot they left. Fuck.

I should've hired a demon hunter. Or learned hunting, I don't have money of my own.

"Is that how you see me?", her voice pitching, like she's going to throw a tantrum any moment now. Like I would let her trick me to doing what she wants with her tantrum, "Yeah, so?". She turned red, little hands balled to fists and her frown deepening. Eyes are big and watery. Is she going to cry over something so petty?

"Apologize", she managed to say, her voice trembling a bit.

I raised a brow, crossing my arms with bored eyes, "No".

She stomps her foot. Is she five or what? "Say it or I'll scream". I frowned at her, "Stop acting like a snotty brat, scream your heart out, like I care". "I won't breathe till you apologize", she inhaled and puffed her cheeks. I snorted, we'll see about that.

She then held her breath, for five seconds. Then twenty. Then thirty. And then a full minute and she was turning pale. Is she serious? I softened my frown, actually amazed she held it for so long.

Her eyes was welling up, slowly crouching, hands on her nose and mouth to stop her from breathing. "The heck, just breathe already you dumbass", I said, my tone slightly giving me away since I can't hide my concern, a SMALL amount of concern. She shook her head, being a stubborn idiot. She slid to the floor, her arms on the seat to at least hold her up from totally collapsing. It has been two minutes. I can see her slowly turning blue.

If she dies, it's actually my fault. I pried her hands off her face, accidentally pinning her on the floor. She shook her head, tears flowing from lack of air. "JUST BREATHE", I yelled and she shook her head again, shaking beneath me.

"OKAY, I'M SORRY, I'LL NEVER CALL YOU NAMES AGAIN", I screamed at her, holding both her hands firmly on both her sides. She exhaled a bit and inhaled sharply, like she was rescued from drowning. She breathed raggedly until it turned to normal. "Good, I'll expect that", she said in a authoritarian tone. What the hell, was she acting this whole time?

She smiled her bright smile, pushing my glasses back for me. "Get off me", she said gently. I realized I was still pinning her down, face near. I stood up, left her on the floor for her to get up on her own. She stood up, fixing her uniform a bit. She lifted the chair to stand and sat on it, as if nothing happened.

Since she's not one bit affected, I continued. Not only annoying, but manipulative as well. Hell spawn indeed. After the process, I piled the approved papers away from the denied pile, neatly. She sat on her table, checking something in the files. I wonder what's keeping her busy. "I'm going home", I said, starting to pack my stuff.

"Okay", she said, not looking up from what she's reading. It was getting late, I don't know if staying there is smart. Then again, the hell I care. So I left the room and after closing the door, I heard her faint "Bye".

I didn't look back, instead, I went straight home before I get in trouble for staying late. So I'll see her tomorrow. Can I call in sick?

God, she's so annoying.
