I rushed into the hospital.

The same lady was sitting at the front desk.

I told her I was here for, again and she told me the room.

To my surprise it was the same room as Lilly's.

That sent a shiver down my spine.

I slowly walked down the hallway. When I reached the door I took a deep breath and turned the doorknob slowly. My eyes hit Emily laying in the same bed Lilly was in sleeping.

The heart monitor at a steady pace, with no one around.

No one crowded around Emily crying and praying she would be OK.

No one.

Not even a doctor.

Just me.

I stayed that night.

"Good morning!" The doctor; Dr. Anthonys said.

"I've spoken to Christi. She's visiting her friend in Florida and will be here when the next flight to New York is available." The doctor said as he checked his charts.

"OK thank you." I said as a nurse came in and brought in food for me.

"Doctor?" I asked after a quietness had fell over the room.

He looked up at me.

"Yes?"

"What's the matter with Emily?"

The doctor gave me a sympathetic look.

"Uh there's no easy way to say this; but the impact her head had in the fall caused her to go into a tiny, teeny, little, coma."

My heart sank.

"What?!" I practically screamed.

"Coma." The doctor said again.

"For how long?!"

I said as my tone of voice became more softer.

"It depends." The doctor continued.

"It could be a two day thing or a two year thing."

I took a deep breath.

"She won't.... die, will she?"

The doctor took a second to answer.

"Most people don't."

He left the room and I sat down to contact everyone who I knew who would care.
