Your boots clicked on the wooden floor. You were currently going into your assigned apartment, you unlocked it as you plopped down the bed. However, as you were about to close your eyes, Your phone suddenly rang.
You sighed. "Hello?" You asked, in a cold and monotone voice, in that way, anyone can't recognize your voice. "Oh I see, trying to keep a monotone voice, Ms. ____?" The voice asked in an equally monotone voice.
"Nice to meet you L." You replied, aloof. Your eyes narrowed, what's his purpose in calling?
"It's an equal pleasure to talk to you, (f/n). You're the one who's going to assist me in this Kira Case I presume?"
"Yeah. Not to sound mean, but what do you need?"
"I'm fond of games and I know you are too, X. I just wanted to know if you had gathered anything about myself? You're not X for no reason."
"Yes. You're quite correct, L Lawliet."
It went silent for a few seconds before the same monotone voice spoke up. "I'm amazed you already know my name. Who really are you?"
"I am obviously using an alias which is X and (f/n) ______. I am known across the world with names such as Death Scythe, Fullmetal, Eyepatch and others that I cannot keep track of..." I paused, I'm sure he heard at least a handful of those names before.
"I was also once called as (y/n)."
