Your POV (First Person)
"Heya Law." I greeted, casually leaning on the door frame. Controlling the anger I am feeling, I will talk to him about why he left me later on, right now isn't the best time.
"I'm glad to see you again." L said, running his thumb across his bottom lip, hah, just like the old days.
"I doubt that." I whispered quietly.
"Pardon? I didn't hear you."
"Nah, nothing. So you need me to assist you in this mass murdering thingy?"
"Yes. Though I would appreciate if you start calling me L and not Law." He said, sitting down on the couch with his unusual way of sitting.
"Wanna start now? L." I suggested.
"Why not? I'll get the main room fixed now Ms. _______." He replied, walking towards the door.
"No need to be so formal L-kun~ , and it's (f/n) Yamazaki now! Although could I at least have the permission to remove these handcuffs? They're annoying me." I said, showing him my cuffed hands.
"Permission?" L asked, raising an eyebrow on what I meant about 'permission.'
"So, do I have the permission or not?" I asked him, ignoring his one-word question.
"Yes you have." L said, putting both of his hands on his pockets.
"Thank you." I thanked him as I spread my hands, destroying the handcuffs in half.
The guards' eyes widened, "What the hell!" They said.
For L of course, he managed to keep a calm expression, it's like he wasn't surprised at all.
"Everyone, meet (f/n) Yamazaki, she is X. (f/n), meet the Task Force. They are also going to accompany us in this investigation." L said uninterested. I smiled- more like smirked-, looking at the people sitting on a huge couch. I recognized Matsuda from earlier.
"You're X? I didn't expect you to be a girl." The oldest looking man asked.
"I get that a lot." I shrugged, looking at Matsuda.
"Yeah, I thought so too when I found out she was X." Matsuda said sheepishly.
"You met her already?" A man asked him.
"Earlier today, yes." He replied.
"Alright then, I shall start investigating. Could anyone please show me where the room must be?" I asked politely.
"Watari. Please take her there, we will be following suit." L said as a very familiar man walked out of a room and took off his coat.
I recognized him immediately, he was like a father to me when I was taken into... the orphanage, back when L didn't leave me yet. To be honest, I am boiling mad at the raven-haired detective but I kept my emotions buried down for later.
"Watari!" I screamed happily and hugged him. He laughed and ruffled my hair.
"You've grown so much since I last saw you." He said, smiling happily at me. I flinched at the memories. After Watari went off to somewhere and L had gone missing, hell started climbing up to me, dragging me down. Ah, the memories.
