Turned Out

Chapter Nine

Today is the first day of shooting. It's Friday and we'll be shooting this video until late Saturday. I'm excited, but then again, I'm not sure what to expect.

When I got there, I automatically went to find Aja and Asia. I have been talking to them these past couple of days leading up to the video and they're the only ones I feel comfortable around. Besides Shannon and Terrian of course. "Hey girls!" I beamed. "I'm nervous as shit, man." I admitted.

"Girl, you don't have to be! T Rage loves you and if you let him do a little extra extra, then things will go fine. Plus you get extra money." Aja said.

"Extra like what?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Extra like a touch, a feel, a kiss, a suck, and after the video a nice little fuck." Asia laughed, rhyming her words. I scrunched up my nose, not finding anything she just said amusing.

"That's nasty. I'm going to do what I was hired to do. Shake my ass, twirl my hips, and look pretty next to T. Nothing more." She shrugged.

"You gotta do what you gotta do."

"Have y'all?" They both looked at each other, giggled, and then shrugged. Oh hell no. I'm not hoeing myself out for an extra pretty penny or the sake of a good review. I'm here because someone liked my face, maybe liked my body. Not because I was throwing the cat as far as it could be thrown. I shook my head. "Well, I have to go get my make up and hair done. I'll see you after the shoot."

After hair and makeup, I could barely recognize myself. They had so much makeup caked on my face and they put a weave in my hair. I already have long hair, but it's only a little after my shoulders. The weave they had sewn in my hair went to nearly the top of my butt and it was curled. They put a top not bun in the top portion of my hair and left the rest down with curled tips. It was cute and all, but just not me. I looked myself over in the mirror one more time and went to wardrobe. Asia, Aja, Shantaal, and a few other girls were already there. They all looked really pretty, even Shantaal. If she didn't have such a nasty attitude, she'd be super gorgeous. Maybe even prettier than me, but that attitude just messes it all up for her. I went over to the rack of clothes with my name on the tag, I don't know what scene we're shooting first, so I had to ask the stylist. There were four scenes and three outfits for each. I was only going to be wearing one of the outfits, but they wanted options. The scenes were going in order for better organization, so the stylist checked what Terrian chose to wear and then came and picked through the rack. She picked out a skin tight burgundy dress. It stopped just below my butt and had big diamond cutouts on both sides of my waist. The dress had gold studs around the short sleeves and was paired with a pair of gold red bottom pumps. They smeared burgundy colored lipstick on my lips and added a golden shimmer top gloss. They put a gold spiked necklace on me gold and ruby studs.

After the shoot I was so physically exhausted. It was way more than just being cute and twirling. They had a whole scene set out. The song was about a girl that Terrian was in love with, but never talked to her face to face. He seen her in a club scene first, then a mall scene, then she was his waiter at a restaurant. By the end of the video they had got together and were having lunch at a beachside restaurant. The two restaurant scenes come tomorrow though. I really don't know why he needed so many girls as extras, boys need to be at the beach, club, and both restaurants too. I guess they found people to do that though.

When I got home, I showered and went straight to bed. As I was dosing off I felt a dip in the bed and then arms wrapped around me. I smiled and turned to face Landyn. "Hi baby." I said with my eyes still closed. He kissed my lips and pulled me closer.

"You have fun today?"

"It was tiring and I had to take off work to do it. For tomorrow, too." He sighed loudly. I opened my eyes and he looked sad or frustrated, maybe both. "What?"
