Bonjour! Short chapter. Lots of random dialouge. Sowwie. Matt comes back next chapter, promise I'll try to make it not suck.

I sighed and stepped out of Annie's car. The mall awaited us.

"Come on, Sophie, hurry!" Annie called, running towards the building.

Frowning, I entered it with her. It wasn't extremely crowded, but it wasn't anywhere near empty either. As Annie had said 'perfect conditions for boy shopping'.

"Can we get food?" I pouted.

She sighed. "But, Sophie!"

"I'm fucking hungry, dude."

"Ugh, fine."

I did a little happy dance and walked over to one of places selling pizza in the food court.

"Greasy pizza isn't cute." She mumbled.

I rolled my eyes and ordered. I was hungry and I wanted pizza. Who the fuck cares if it's cute? The girl that was working, handed me my food and I turned to go sit down. That was when I noticed Annie wasn't by me anymore. I frowned but sat down anyway. A few minutes later, though, she appeared and sat in the seat across from me before sliding a Starbucks cup my way.

"Thank you so much." I mumbled, taking a sip.

She laughed. I loved their coffee.

"You're welcome. Now hurry up, Sophie."

"Mmphffmmff."

"Don't talk with your mouth full."

"Okay, mom."

She rolled her eyes at me checked her phone.

"I have to babysit Saturday, you're coming to the zoo with me."

I nearly choked.

"Saturday?"

"Yeah."

"Like, this Saturday?"

"No, last Saturday. Of course this Saturday." She looked at me like I was stupid.

"I can't. I'm...busy."

"Busy? But, Sophia, you have to!"

"I've already made plans."

"With who? I'm sure you can cancel."

"Actually, I can't. A friend from Baltimore is coming up to see me, I've been waiting months to see him."

"Him?" She raised her eyebrows suggestively.

"We're just friends."

"Oh, then, is he cute?"

"But I do like him..." I mumbled.

"Fine. I'll take care of the little brat on my own and you can fuck Mr. Baltimore." She shrugged.

"We aren't doing that!" I shouted, causing some stares.

"Sure you aren't." She giggled.

"We're not."

"You've been waiting months to see him, he's driving two hours to come see you and you like him. Come on, Sophie, let him get-"

"Shut up!"

She smiled a devious smile.

"No one's getting anything." I mumbled.

"Two hours, Sophia, two hours."

"Drop it, Annie."

"I'm sure he'd appreciate it."

"Dammit, Annabell, shut the hell up."

She laughed. "I was just trying to help your sex life."

"I don't need help."

"Sure, now, can we look for boys? Or at least can I?"

I nodded. "Sure."

I threw away my trash and off we went.
