Hi guys. How're you? Do you like this story so far? Hmmm? Hmmmm?! Because I love it. :3 It's becoming one of my favorites. Many twists and turns await you, lovely people. :D

Soph's p.o.v.

With a frown on my face, I sat cross legged on my bed for a few moments, clutching my chest. I sat in silence until I decided to check the time on my phone. Glancing at it, I noticed I had one missed call from Matthew's number and a voicemail. Pressing and holding down the '1' button on my phone, I waited for the familiar monotonous electronic voice to come through the speakers.

"One new message. Message one, recieved at 11:33 p.m."

I twirled my hair idly as I listened to Matt's voice.

'I have to tell you something'? What's that mean?

My guard instantly went up as I dialed his number with shaky hands.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

I heard him breathe a sigh of relief. "Sophie."

"That's me..." I mumbled awkwardly, picking lint off my socks.

"Sophia, I need to tell you something."

If possible, my chest started to ache more.

"What is it Matthew?"

"I didn't cheat on you." He rushed out quickly. "Last night, though, after you hung up, I went to a bar. There was a girl there, and we talked. She was flirty, but I didn't do anything. Nothing happened, I swear."

I bit my lip. "If nothing happened, why are you telling me about it?"

He sighed. "Because, Soph, I want you to trust me. I don't want to give you any reason not to, nor do I want to keep things from you. I want you to know that I care about you, and only you. I want you to have faith in me."

A smile slowly crept it's way onto my face.

"I trust you." I whispered.

"Well, I- wait, what?"

"Matt, I trust you."

"Really?" He mumbled suspiciously.

"Unless you give me a reason not to, yes, I do."

He exhaled heavily. "You don't have to worry about that."

I took a drink of the water Tony had brought me to try and stop the oncoming cough that I could feel in my throat, but choked it up anyway.

"You okay, babe?" He asked, quickly.

"Yeah, I've just been a little sick." I frowned.

"Are you taking anything?"

I sighed, both my brother and Matt worried too much.

"No, I'm fine."

"Promise?"

"Yes, no stop worrying, dammit."

He chuckled lightly. "Okay, okay, fine."

"Good. So, how's tour going?" I mumbled, changing the subject.

"It's actually almost over, Soph."

"Huh?"

Had I really been so determined to push him away that I stopped paying attention to when it was time for him to come home? I stood up and checked my calender. It was the seventh, and tour was over on the 21st. Two weeks. Just two weeks.

"Yeah. We only have a few weeks left. We play Baltimore on the 21st as the last show and then we're done."

A smile spread across my face again. "I can't wait to see you, Mattykins."
