**Later that day**
"Moooom!" I called as I walked into our nicely furnished loft.
She walked to the living room with her iPhone up to her ear & motioned for me to wait.
"Uh huh...okay....alright, thanks." She hung up and turned to me "How was practice today hon?" she plopped on the couch and motioned for me to come sit next to her.
I took my uggs off and stood in front of her.
"Mommy I have really exciting news! I couldn't possibly sit at a time like this!"
"Okay well spill it, You're getting me excited."
"Okay so our school surprised us with a guest appearance from Mindless Behavior."
"Ohh cool!" She smiled.
"But thats not all!"
"Did one of them try to talk to my beautiful daughter?" My mom winked.
"Oh I wish 😂. but no they held auditions to be on their 2 day christmas tour! I auditioned!!"
"& You made it? Omg!! yaay!" My mom hugged me. "Dinner at your resturant choice tonight! Bring your girls."
"Thanks mommy." I hugged her.
"I'm going to go get Caleb from the indoor soccer arena. Thats where they practice now. but be ready when i get back"
She walked out.
I headed upstairs to my room.
I conferenced called my girls.
"Hey ya'll." I said.
"Heeey." They replied.
"My mom is going to pick you guys up in about 30 mins and were going to eat for celebration, thats cool?"
"Yeah but 30 minutes? let me go! my hair is a mess." Alyssa said.
We all laughed.
"Alright, bye girl." Alyssa hung up.
"Everyone else down too?"
they all agreed & we hung up.
I changed my hoodie for a black leather jacket with a blue and grey scarf. I put on my black studded combat boots, added moose to my friz & went to the living room.
Momente later my mom pulled up and jetted down stairs.
We picked up the girls & headed to Red Robin.
"Hello. 7 please." My mother talked to the host.
"You're bout to probably get stacks just for doing 3 shows with MB." Tameela joked!
"For real tho! All their shows be soldout!" Janise added
" Is anyone doing the show with them?" Maya asked.
"I dont know, our first day of practice is tomorrow. so i'll let ya'll know!" I said as we sat in the booth.
"You girls can get anything you want." My mother chimed in.
"Thanks Ms. Mitchell." My friends thanked my mother.
"So are you a star now?" Asked Caleb.
"No, not yet. Probably never. I'm just a dancer."
"Oh whatever you been a star." Maya joked. "No i'm kidding but you were born to be a star! you can't stop destiny." Maya smiled.
"Thats right! I knew you were bound to be a star since you were a baby. tge way your eye used to twinkle." My mom started tearing up
"Awe, thanks you guys. I love ya'll." I cut my chicken sandwhich in half.
" Once you get famous you wont be able to go out to eat like this."
"I wont be that famous for a long time, i'm just a dancer."
"Yeah a dancer for Mindless Behavior! You see how famous Abby & Kiloni got just from dancing with Jacob L. "
"I guess, I mean they're famous more from fans not actually Tv & stuff."
"It doesn't make a difference the fans are what make you famous, you could be on tv a million times, go out in public and no one would notice you. But having fans just from instagram people might reconigze you and be excited to meet you."
"Mhm like Tre Melvin. he aint never been on Tv"
I took in what they were telling me. We finished dinner and headed home.
By then the New York night was harsh with winds blowing every direction.
But I laid in my bed that night and dreamt of what It would be like to be famous.
