******the next day at practice*****
"How was school today?" Ray asked Alyssa & I as we walked through the door.
"Good, good!" I unbottoned my coat.
"So glad tomorrow is the last day before break." Alyssa hung her coat up.
"We should hangout while you guys are on break or something. It'll give us time to get to know each other." Princeton added.
"That a good Idea you know since ya'll from New York, ya'll could show us around." Said Prodigy.
"That an cool idea, lets all exchange numbers." I gave my number to everyone but Roc.
We started practicing, an hour later later Dave cut the music.
"Good so far. Take a 30 minute break, they have a food court downstairs." Dave announced.
"Or there are a couple food spots on this street, if thats okay." I said.
"Yeah sure as long as you're back in 30mins"
"Hazel, can I talk to you?" Roc grabbed my arm.
"Talk to him, Ray & I are going to grab bagels from next door." Alyssa threw her Jacket on.
I huffed and rolled my eyes.
"We got off on a bad start, I'm sorry I shouldn't have laughed at your name but my name is Chresanto so I have no room to laugh." He put his crew neck on. And I said nothing. "You can't honestly hate me, look how good I look."
I giggled.
"Oh so you do smile?" He cheese. "We have to work w. each other so we might as well get along."
"You're right." I finally spoke.
"So does this mean I can ask you to see a movie w. me tomorrow night?" He opened the door for me.
"Uh no, we ain't that cool."
"Lets get that cool." He winked.
"We work together so thats not a good idea and plus I have a boyfriend. I don't think He'd appreciate that." We walked up to starbucks.
"Its cool girl, I ain't tryna be ya man girl, i'm tryna be ya friend girl." He opened the starbucks door for me.
I ordered what I wanted and I was surprised when he offered to pay for it.
"Thanks." I grabbed my french vanilla latte.
"No problem." We walked back to the studio in silence.
Just then my phone rang it was Damien.
"Hey baby." I answered.
"Wassup?" Damien voice made me melt.
"On break."
"Oh, I miss you. Can we have dinner tonight?"
"How about you meet me at the studio around 8 and have dinner at my house?"
"Sounds good."
"Kay, well I have to go."
"Alright bye love." He hung up.
Dave came in and started playing the music
"Don't forget the offer still stands." Roc walked away and started dancing.
For some reason I got butterflies in my stomach. I ignored it and focused on the routine.
Finally practice ended.
