"I'm so saaaad, you've been my best friend for two years." Alyssa sat on my bed with a carton of ice cream in hand.
"I know I know. Relax atlease you get to spend the whole tour with me and I'll be back at NYSA 107 next year. If I don't get anymore dance offers." I finished packing my louis vutton luggage
"No don't say that! I mean I'm proud of you but I wish you could have all this sucess from New York."
"New york is my home baby girl don't worry I wont be gone long. ENOUGH with being sad! This is my last night in new york & you and I are about to have the ultimate sleepover."
I throw my pillow down and turned up the radio.
"BABY YOU LIGHT UP MY WORLD LIKE NOBODY ELSE THE WAY THAT YOU FLIP YA HAIR GETS ME OVER WHELMED." I danced along with the radio.
Alyssa smiled. "What the heck."
She shrugged and danced along!
We stayed up & watched our three favorite movies Mean Girls, ATL & Love & Basketball eventually falling asleep on the floor.
The next morning I was awoken by my mother.
"Good morning honey. Shower & join us for breakfast."
I was going to miss my mommy waking me up and her breakfasts.
I showered and dressed in PINK yoga pants with chestnut uggs & a black north face.
I joined Caleb, Alyssa & my mom at the table.
"I just want to say that I am so proud of you, for chasing your dreams. Am I sad that you have to move so far away from ya mama? Yes But it's all worth it and i can not wait to see you on stage ripping it up. You deserve this so much." My mom lifted her coffee cup with tears in her eyes.
"Aww mommy." I went to hug her. "Everything I'm doing, I'm doing for us. You have been such an amazing mom raising us on your own, never complaining and giving us whatever it is we want now I want to be able to get you what you want."
Just then there was a knock on the door.
I was already standing up so I went to answer.
"Hi." Maya stood there with a bag in her hand.
"Uhm hey." I said.
"I just want you to know I really am sorry about what happened. I know you might not care or you don't belive me but I am." I could tell she was on the verge of tears.
"Who is it?" My mom and Alyssa walked up.
"Oh hello Mya, how are you?" My mom asked.
"I'm fine Ms. Mitchell. How about yourself?"
"I'm good."
"Can you guys give us a minute?" I asked.
They nodded and walked back into the kitchen.
"Here I got you this." Mya handed me the bag.
I looked inside and there was rubber ducks, colorful sunglasses and bubbles in them.
"Our first time hanging out we went to that cute little toy store down town and were goofing aroud."
"Look Mya, this was sweet and all but I don't think I could ever trust you again. I forgive you but I just can't pretend nothing happened How am I suppose to trust you around anybody I date. I'm sorry I have a flight to catch." I closed the door.
I walked back into the kitchen.
"You alright?" My mom asked.
"Yeah lets go, I don't want to miss my flight." I ate the last of my food and headed towards my room to get my suitcase
In the car in the way to the airport I felt bittersweet.
"Awww look thats our favorite starbucks." I pointed out the window. "Oh and bye outside ice skating rink." I waved.
"Quit being such a drama queen." Alyssa & my mom laughed.
"I can't believe how much my life has change in three months..Thats where I first reharsed with mindless behavior"
I looked at the all-star studio.
Finally we arrived to the airport.
"I don't like you but I'm going to miss messing with you." Caleb green eyes looked up at me.
"Aww kiddo." I ruffled his curls and hugged him.
"Ewww." He pulled back!
And we all laughed.
"Flight 718 to Atlanta, Georgia is now boarding at gate B."
"Uhm well thats me." I grabbed my handbag.
"Love you be safe." My mom kissed me.
"Thanks, love you too"
I boarded my plane.
