"How's my waitress?" I heard my favorite voice greet me while I sat food down at a table.
"Enjoy!" I smiled at the family before turning around to face Ashton with a smile. "What are you doing here?"
"Can I not come visit my girlfriend at work?" He faked hurt as he followed me to the counter.
"No." I whined. "When you come, I get caught up talking to you and I forget that I still have a sandwich that needs to be brought to the little girl with a pig tails. I might get fired."
"Then stop being so fascinated by me." He chuckled making me laugh.
"Oh, if only it was that easy." I sarcastically replied.
"Anyways, I came here to ask if you wanted to watch a movie with the guys and Kenzie."
"Well now I'm offended." I teased.
"How so?"
"You came here just to ask me if I wanted to watch a movie." I laughed.
"That was my excuse to see you." He flirted.
I smiled. "Nice save. Now go home. I have to work."
"Wow. Just wow. I drive 5 minutes only to be told to drive all the way home."
"You're so full of it." I laughed.
After arguing with me, he gave in and left the diner but not before kissing me on the cheek.
After my shift was over, I left the diner and headed to the car to drive him and get ready to go to Kenzie's house.
