☆Yunhyeong - Formalities☆

RaeAh hate all the boys in her class. They are rowdy, rude and thought they were very clever.

In fact, she hated every boy.

She has never been in a relationship before, nor did she wanted to because she simply couldn't trust boys.

Once when she was a new student in middle school, she didn't know anything about how to get around in school, to get to the canteen, to the library etc. She sought help from a few boys but they led her to the backyard of the school instead.

They tried to harass her and she tried to fight back by hitting them with her schoolbag. But there were too many of them, and boys have bigger strength.

If not for the teacher on duty who was patrolling the school compound to look for students who tried to play truant, RaeAh couldn't think of what was going to happen to her.

To protect herself, RaeAh learnt some basic taekwondo moves and she tried to keep a distance with boys.

She also had this mindset that she should be above all of boys so she worked really hard in her academics and cocurricular activities.

Now RaeAh is a top student who excels in every examinations, and she is also the President of the English Language Society (ELS).

RaeAh was at school as usual, doing the usual routines in her class.

The teacher has left the classroom earlier as she had some errands to do and so the class is in an uproar.

A sudden knock on the door caught RaeAh's attention as she turned her head towards the door.

She saw a boy peeking through the door and he seemed to look for someone. The boy's eyes roamed around the classroom before they stopped and focused on RaeAh's face.

The boy's face brightened up immediately as he walked slowly towards RaeAh.

Who the hell is he? Did he just smile at me? RaeAh thought to herself as confusion struck her. She probably only knew the boys in her class and didn't know any other boys who actually exist in this school.

"Hi, I'm Song Yunhyeong. I came because I wanted to discuss something with you." The boy introduced himself as he took a polite bow at RaeAh.

RaeAh nodded slightly at him as she was still confused. And she never met a boy like Yunhyeong before. He is way too polite and it feels...

Weird.

"Excuse me, do I know you?" RaeAh raised her eyebrows as she questioned Yunhyeong.

"Oh you may have forgotten me. But you're the President of ELS right? I'm your comittee member."

"Oh I see. So what can I do for you?"

"I would like to suggest the next activity of ELS. Shall we go mountain climbing?"

"Is that even related to English Language?" RaeAh didn't mean anything bad but the words seemed harsh.

Yunhyeong was stunned for a while before he smiled awkwardly and replied, "Oh I get what you mean. It's okay, my friends just wanted me to do the suggestion for them. Sorry for taking up your time, see ya!" He bowed again and waved as he left the classroom.

RaeAh found this boy special. He is different from any other boys she had met before. He is so polite and nice.

What am I thinking? I hate boys! RaeAh thought to herself as she shook the idea off her head.
