"Jinhwannie~~Wait for me!!" the little girl shouted as she chased after the cheeky boy who took off with her Pooh plushie.

"Blek~~Catch me if you can!" The boy named Jinhwan exclaimed sheepishly as he took off from the corner of the road.

On the other hand, Y/N, the girl chasing Jinhwan was very anxious about her precious plushie that she ran with all her might but unfortunately she tripped and fell.

Jinhwan turned around and saw what happened. There she was, sitting on the ground with tears welling around the corner of her eyes, hugging her legs badly injured from the fall. Guilt fell all over him. He blamed himself for making the girl hurt when all he wanted was to make the girl play with him more and see her cute expressions.

" I'm so sorry, Y/N-ah. Here let me blow blow", Jinhwan said with sad eyes. Jinhwan's gestures made the girl stopped crying. She smiled back. He piggybacked her back to her house which is just beside his house.

Jinhwan, who was awake 6 in the morning was getting ready for school. After he brushed his teeth, changed into his school uniform and had breakfast, he bade farewell to his mother as he took his leave for the school.

"Be careful ya, honey!" Mrs Kim screamed from the kitchen.

Every morning, Jinhwan would pass by Y/N's house on his way to school. Nothing changed except the fact that
Y/N was gone.

She left with her family without any notice.

After all these years, the now 18 years old Jinhwan still missed her. How much he wanted to see her. Even though he had no clue at all as to where she is now.

Is she fine?

Whenever he thought about her, his heart ached.

As usual, he walked alone to the classroom. He hung his head down as he walked as tears are about to fall whenever he reminisces about her.

"Ouch!" The girl in front of him exclaimed.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry! Are you ok, miss?" Jinhwan quickly apologized to the girl who fell down on the ground as a result of him accidentally knocking her down.

When the girl raised her head to tell him that she's ok, Jinhwan was so shocked and happy at the same time.

It is her! How much he wanted to see her again!

"Y/N-ah! I missed you so much! Where have you been?" Jinhwan pulled her into a hug and cried his eyes out.

The girl. She just stood there emotionless. She didn't hug back. She didn't reply how much she missed him too. Even, she tried pushing away from Jinhwan's embrace.

Realising the situation, Jinhwan slowly loosen up his arms. He stared at her sadly. The girl stared back.

" Yeah, it's nice to meet you again, Jinhwannie." Y/N said as she got up from the ground, dusting her body from the dirt.

"Well, I gotta go. See ya later."

These words stung Jinhwan hard.
Why is she being so cold? Isn't she happy to see him again? Is she still the Y/N he once knew?

After class ended, Y/N walked back home, alone. Her mum was already at home busying herself tidying up the whole place that have been left untouched for 12 years.

Jinhwan was dying to get an answer for the change in Y/N so he decided to go to Y/N's house for a nice chat.

However, Jinhwan was hurt by Y/N's behaviour and was starting to worry that could she hate him? He decided to visit at the time when Y/N was out for tuition.
