"Ava dear, hush~~"

Kim Mirah was cuddling a newborn who couldn't stop crying as she rock her slightly from left to right.

The trick didn't work as the baby continued to wail so she resorted to singing a lullaby to the baby.

It worked amazingly, as the baby stopped crying, slowly closed her eyes and drifted to dreamland.

Mirah smiled, watching the cute little baby sleeping so soundly in her arms.

She slowly placed the baby into the cradle, rocked her a little and slowly exited the room to check on the other children.

Mirah gently turned on the doorknob and she let out a soundless gasp as she was startled to see a figure standing right in front of the door.

Kim Hanbin who came to fetch his little sister, Hanbyul from the daycare centre passed by the room and stopped in his tracks when he heard that beautiful voice.

That beautiful voice seemed to allure him so much so that he find it impossible to remove that voice once it was registered in his brain.

He didn't know whose voice it belonged to but he was determined to find out.

Therefore, there Hanbin was, leaning his ears against the door to listen to it again.

He was disappointed when that voice stopped abruptly and once he heard footsteps coming towards the door, he immediately removed his ear from the door and stood in front of the door.

Hanbin didn't know why, but he felt nervous all of a sudden.

His heart almost leaped out of his chest when he heard the sound of the doorknob slowly being turned and he was about to meet the owner of that voice that attracted him.

Hanbin began to open his mouth to talk but that girl silenced him by putting a finger on her lips.

Then she pointed to the sleeping baby, and Hanbin immediately got the message.

That girl gave Hanbin a sweet smile before leading him out of the way and they walked to the main room.

"I'm sorry for cutting your words earlier but I didn't want to wake the baby up." Mirah apologized as she smiled at Hanbin, again.

Hanbin felt he could drown in that mesmerising smile and voice of hers as he shook his head and smiled back before he started his words.

"It's okay, I should be the one to apologize for sneaking outside the door like that. Are you new here? I don't think I've met you before."

"Ahh, yes. I'm currently working part-time here."

Their conversation were interrupted when the bell rings.

Itt was already 6 o'clock, which meant that it was time for the older children to get back home.

"Urmmm, sir? Did you perhaps came to pick your.... child back home?"

Mirah hesitated before saying the word 'child' as she found Hanbin too young to be a father.

But who knows, he can be a father too.

"Hanbinnie-oppa!" A little girl came rushing out of one of the rooms as Hanbin immediately bent down to receive her as she jumped into his arms at once.

He raised her up and carried her before he turned to look at Mirah.

"I'm here to pick my sister up." He grinned as Mirah let out an awkward smile.
