You close your book, and grab your library card to checkout the book. Scanning your card, the beep makes itself presents, and flashing across the screen are the words,
Due in 2 weeks
Belle smiles at you from behind the counter. You smile back. The both of you have bonded over the past couple of months with Henry being gone.
"Hey Y/N!" Belle calls out to you as you leave the library. You turn, with a sad smile on your face, heading towards her.
"You have a little something in your hair," she reaches her hand into your hair, and upon finding what it is, she frowns.
"Oh. Sorry"
You tuck your hair back into place, "It's just a Valentines Day Hair pin"
She smiles sadly at you. She knows who significant this day is for you. Every Valentines Day, Henry always dos special things for you. He brought you flowers, and took you on long walks; made you feel like you were the only girl in the world. Emma and the gang have been gone to the Underworld for months. Ever since December. Now, in February, you're alone, wondering whether or not they made it back from the underworld, or will ever make it back. Henry went with them, and he didn't even say goodbye. The whole group didn't say goodbye to anyone. They just left without another word. Belle and you both bonded over your grief for your loved ones. It's Valentine's Day now, and no one has returned.
"Never mind" Belle mutters to herself.
You carefully walk back to your car, and place the key in the ignition, starting the car. The radio flicks on. You've always hated the news channel, but it's all you ever listen to now, hoping they have news regarding Henry.
"We still hopefully await the return of our heroes, who desperately followed Hook to the Underworld-" you hear. You sigh. Of course. Nothing. You turn on the car, and drive in complete silence. If Henry were here, he'd make you laugh so much that's you'd cry or he'd be such a gentlemen you wouldn't even be driving; he would be. If he returned, you weren't sure if you were going to cry on him or slap him.
When you arrive home your mom is cooking dinner, seeing that it's 7:30.
"Damnit" you quietly mutter under your breath. You always sit in the park daily praying that they'll be home, and you nearly forgot today. You quickly put your jacket on again, and run towards the car.
"Where are you going?"
"I forgot something at the library, I'll be right back"
.
The sun has set, and when you park your car, Exiting the car, you take hold of your locket, and hold it tight, as the park gives you an eerie feeling at night. Your locket with the photo of Henry and you. You always visit this spot. Everyday you come and sit on the shore of these banks, just hoping they'll come home. They disappeared here, so they're bound to come back here, right?
You fiddle with the chain of the necklace. Henry gave it to you as a gift for your 16th birthday, along with other gifts. You hadn't really worn it or even acknowledged it until he disappeared. You then wore it around your neck, feeling like a part of him was still with you. Tearing out into the horizon, you watch your breath huff in front of you, since it was so cold. You imagined Henry popping up from the water, coming to find you, but it hasn't become a reality. After waiting ten minutes, you sigh and get up to leave; after all the eerie vibe the park was giving you didn't make you feel good and you had to get home. Suddenly, the ground jerks and you fall to the floor, your head hitting the hard concrete floor. There's pain and a bit of a trickle on the area, around your cheek, which you can only assume to be blood. You only gently hit the ground, so you don't bleed very much. You lift your head, and notice blue beams originating from behind the trees. You try to move yourself away, though the shaking ground makes it difficult.
The locket is still clutched tightly in your hand, and as soon as you think you're safe, you curl up and wait for the shaking to pass. You're hidden under a bench, when suddenly, debris is falling from the sky. You look up and see wood, cement, and people. The people's laughs are crooked, and you notice them as they emerge from from the light in the sky. Peter Pan, Cora, Cruela- everyone who was already dead was alive again. You curl up even tighter, hoping they won't spot you. A large wooden debris fall on the bench, and begins to crush you.
Your lungs are compacted, and you can barely breathe with all the weight on you.
Your breaths are slow and deep. You breathe in as much as you can. Everything around you blurs.
No.
No.
No.
You will not let yourself and this way. You take your hands and place them on the wood covering you. You push upwards, the rock moving only to let you take in a quick breath. You look around, and since the only light source you have is the bright blue beam, you cans see much. You lift it up again, and wiggle closer to the opening. Repeating the process, you continue to inch closer to the exit. Your head is poking out of the wooden stack.
You gasp when you see Hook standing alive and well, with his father, both of them battling any villain they come across. Emma stumbles out of a portal by the trees, and looks around, identifying her surroundings. She spots you, running over to you.
"Y/N!"
She helps you lift the debris and you roll out, "Are you okay?"
"I think so. Where's Henry?"
"I.....I don't know"
"You don't know??!"
"He came through the portal before me, he should be here"
She looks back, "Can you look for him? There's way too many villains terrorizing this town"
"You didn't even have to ask" you say, frantic. You look by where the portal was, as Emma takes off behind you.
"Henry?" You yell, "Henry?"
Suddenly, someone grabs your hair from behind and pulls you to the floor. Looking up, you see a man you've never seen before. Rage burns in his eyes, and suddenly his hair is literally a vibrant blue flame. Then you recognize him.
Hadis.
He attempts a punch, but you dodge it. His hands are on yours, holding them against the ground.
You kick Hadis in the nuts and he loosens his grips on your hands. You took the moment to punch him in the face, and then kick him in the stomach. You sprint away from him and the portal, but he regains his stamina and snatches you again, holding you against a tree, his hand enclosed around your neck.
"You're gonna regret doing that, sweetie. See you in the underworld"
Then he falls to the ground, releasing you. You look down at him, seeing him twitch every so often, then up.
There you see someone holding a taser gun. You can only see his chocolate brown hair because of the dim beam, but you know who it is.
"Y/N!" Henry breathes.
He runs towards you, dropping the taser gun. You can barely say anything when he grabs you and spins you around; all you can do is smile, happy tears pouring out of your eyes and onto his ripped shirt.
You embraces you tightly, and you can feel the tears in your shoulder.
"I missed you so much, Y/N" he croaks.
"Ditto Henry"
He pulls you away from the hug and takes your face in his hands, caressing the skin on your cheek before planting a long, awaited kiss on your lips.
You pull away, "I hate to ruin this moment, but there's villains invading the earth"
"Oh yeah" he says.
He grabs his taser gun, and hands you a sword, saying, "I know you know how you use this"
You smile at him, as Zelena appears in front of you, ready to fight. You've actually developed a pity for Zelena, so you decided you wouldn't harm her. And as more villains came along, you sent them back to the underworld.
Once they were all gone, Rumple used a spell to close the portal between the underworld and Storybrooke.
Stars glistened in the night sky. Everyone hugged those they loved, including you and Henry, who kissed you with more passion than before.
"Y/N. I love you. I missed you so much down in the Underworld. You make me laugh and you care for me when no one else can, and you understand me in a way that others wouldn't. I know that when we grow older I want to marry you and I'm sorry I left you. I can't even give you a Valentine's day gift"
He looks down, away, without touching you.
You caress his soft cheek, and smile, saying, "You being here is already a gift"
Sorry if this was a weird imagine, and Sorry for not updating. I don't have a good excuse, because I wasn't really do anything. I didn't have school this week.
