Chapter 6

The door creaked open , they all gasped .
"Hello my sweethearts !" Aunty said politely . She looked at each one of them and stopped at Ed and Em . She smirked as she saw them revealing several of the wrinkles on her face .
Emilia had not realised that she was holding onto Edward's shirt out of fear . She blushed and let go as soon as she realised .
Barbra had lipstick smeared all over her face because of fear . Aunty chuckled , and tried stifel a laugh but was unsuccessful . Barbra looked at her quizzicaly ...... until she looked at herself in the mirror and screamed .
She quickly wiped out the lipstick out of her face .
"Hey Aunty !" Edward said smiling at her before giving her a hug . Emilia thought that it was sweet of him to do so and impolite of her to not greet an elder .
"Evening Aunty !" Em said smiling , widely .
"Evening to you to !" Aunty said .
"I came here to tell you that the police have started the investigation and would like to interrogate you as soon as possible . They would like for you to go the police station at once ." Aunty said .
Em gave an answer that she thought that even Athena would not be able to come up with .
"Oh !"
"Who is gonna look after the house ?" Aunty asked .
"I'll go with Em because I can drive but Boo would be left out . If Boo goes then I will be alone and I don't think it's nice to be alone at home after what happened so I think we all are going . Why do you ask ?" Ed aswered .
"No reason , because of what happened ....." Aunty trailed off mumbling something .
"Oh , we better get going ." Em said .
"But I'm not ready !" Barbra shouted .
"We. Are. Going . To . A . Police . Station ! What do you wanna do flirt there too ?" Em said furiously.
"I must look good Em , first impression matters ." Bera said and went to the washroom banging the door shut .

        Em sighed and shook her head . She changed into something casual while Ed went to his place to get changed . Aunty had left a while ago. A few minutes later Em heard the beep of a car .
"Barbra come out now !" Em called knocking the bathroom door .
Barb came out soon wearing a yellow shirt and blue jeans . Her make up was perfect .
"If demigods were real you'll surely be a daughter of Aphrodeity ." Em said .
"Why ? Isn't Aphrodeity the godess of wisdom ?" Bera said quizzicaly . Em stiffled a laugh.
"No she is of love and beauty !" Em said .
"Oh !" Barbra said and ran to sit in the backseat .
Em sat in front and they drove to the Station .

"Miss Stewart , I presume you're here for interrogation ?" the inspector asked .
Em nodded and clutched on to her handbag .
"Well , take her to Inspector Jake and Superintendant Daren ." the inspector said to the police woman . She took a firm grip on Em's hand and took her to a certain room to the left of the station.
It was dark except for the dim light of the bulb over head. The room was bare with only one table and a couple of files on it. The room was as cold as ice.

Two men came walking in . One of them had a badge on his left shoulder . Em wondered wheather he was the superintended .
The second man came walking behind him . This man had a few folders and a recording tape with him . Em realised that whatever she was going to speak , she needed to be cautious . If she let anything slip she would be done for .
The man with the badge had an intelligent face , he had a grim look which looked fierce with his grey eyes . There were strands of his blonde hair sticking out on his forehead under his hat .
The other man was dubble chinned and had brown hair . He wore a scowl on his face , which made his face more unfriendly .
"Miss.Stewart , you are here for interrogation where in you must answer truthfully ." the man said , his badge read Superintended.
He must be superintended Daren and the other must be Inspector Jake , Em thought .
Inspector Jake set the tape on recording .
"Miss.Stewart can you discribe the events that took place the day the man was murdered ." Daren asked .
"I had been working in that shop for a few weeks . This man who was murdered was a frequent visitor . He had his regular cup of coffee at our shop . That day I served him a cup of coffee as usual . A few minutes before 7:00 , before I went to check on him to take the cup I heard a bang and found him lying on the ground with a pool of blood ." Em said recalling .
"Do you know the where abouts of this man ?" Superintended asked pointing to a picture .
It was the same who was following her apparently she knew the reason .
"I'm afraid not sir ." Em replied .
"Did you know this murdered man ?" Inspector asked .
"Apparently not sir . He only came have a cup of coffee . He would not reply to any of my greetings and would only ask for his cup of coffee ." Em said .
"Was there any other customer that day ?" Superintended asked .
"No , buisness was poor that day sir." Em said .
"Were you the only waitress ? As in where was the owner ?" Inspector asked .
"She was not well so she left early sir ." Emilia said .
"Well thank you for your coorporation and for spending your precious time . I hope we find the murderer ." Superintended Daren said getting up .
"I hope so too sir ." Em said getting up . The Inspector switched off the tape recorder .
"Another murder . Similar to others .... " Inspector murmured .
Emilia heard that and quickly left . She half ran half walked outside the station .
Outside Ed and Boo had been waiting for her . Em gave a quick recap of the interrogation .
"Inspector murmured that there were other murders !" Em said .
"We have to solve that thing fast !" Ed said and they decided to leave . The ride was quiet .
When they reached Barbra's apartment , they were at shock . The front door was open .
They ran inside to find the house turned upside down not even the fridge was left alone .
They did not know who the imposter was but they did know what he was looking for ......
