"Someone will come for me, Bill!" I pounded my fists on the bubble.

"No they won't." Bill shrugged. "This mansion is high in the sky. They won't find you!"

"Bill...please!" My eyes watered. "I want you back! Please come back to me!"

"How many times do I have to tell you, Shooting Star!?" Bill frowned.

"I know you're in there. I know the real you is deep inside; you just have to find it!" I pleaded.

Bill hesitated.

"Bill," I shook my head, "I love you."

"I know." Bill smiled. "And I do too. That's why I have to do this."

"No you don't!" I frowned. "Being good is better than being mean."

"I wouldn't say 'mean'." Bill said. "I'd prefer 'powerful'."

"So what? Good people can't be powerful?"

Bill hesitated.

"Bill, you don't have to be the bad guy." I looked in his eyes. "You can be the hero of this town."

"But I'm the cause of all of this." Bill crossed his arms. "I can't be the villain and the hero."

"You can just be the hero." I said. "Save this town. Save me."

Bill said nothing. I can sense that his good side is struggling to be free. It's like Bill is fighting himself.

Bill paced around for a few minutes. Then he looked at me.

I said nothing. I just looked into his eyes.

Bill walked to my bubble and looked at the key.

He unlocked my chains.

Soon enough the bubble dissolved, letting me drop on the floor. I got up and hugged Bill as tight as I could. I didn't realize I was crying.

"Shooting Star..." Bill sighed. "I'm such an idiot."

I wiped my tears and smiled up at him. "You are. But you're my idiot."
