Two Years Ago

.It was Aviana's birthday, her 18th birthday. She was so excited to share her birthday with her family and friends especially her best friend; Ebru. She loves birthdays. She'd just feel a very unexplainable happiness and excitement rush through her whenever she thinks of how her day's gonna go and what gifts she's gonna receive.
She's one of those people that get so excited for things that's gonna happen the next day, so she would sleep early before her normal bedtime so she'd wake up early, and she'd even think of what she's gonna wear and say until she fall asleep.
Ebru always made fun of her and her weird habit, but she can't help but adore it. And think she's so cute when she says she's going to bed. The way her eyes glister and shine with excitement.
She'd wake up the next day at 6 in the morning too excited to go back to sleep so she'd get up and make her favourite jam and peanut butter sandwich. She'd put her phone on the speaker and play her favourite song. She would be in such a good mood. She would even make Ebru breakfast, she would serve it for her in bed even though it should be the other way around since it's her birthday but she doesn't care. She's just so happy.
"Ebru, wake up. C'mon," She would whisper to her softly, she pushed her hair out of her face and poke her cheek. "Hmm," Ebru hummed and smiled stuck her cheek out for a kiss. "C'mon today's a very special day," She giggled with a smirk forming on her lips. As she licked her cheek instead of kissing it.
"I brought you breakfast to bed, I made it myself" She said proudly after she sat up, patting her chest in a proud matter, "Wow who would've thought Aviana Weston would make breakfast, I gotta say I'm very proud of you right now." She chuckled, "I know right? I'm proud of myself as well," She smiled.
"Okay c'mon bugger, eat up! we have to change and go to mum's!" She said excitedly. "It's just 7 Aviana!" Ebru laughed, "And...?" She asked her friend, "And she's probably still asleep," Ebru explained. "Yes! We will wake her up as well as my dad! C'mon don't be a lazy arse," Aviana clapped her hands happily, "Okay, Okay!" Ebru raised her hands up in surrender with a light smile on her face.

They were standing outside Aviana's mum house. Knocking loudly on the door. She called for her mum. Meanwhile Ebru tried to get her to lower her voice. But that only encouraged her voice to be louder and her knocks to be harder, "Okay, okay I'm coming, I'm coming!" Her mum yelled from inside the house, as she opened the door for her daughter and her best friend. "Mum!" Aviana said with a huge grin on her face, going in for a massive hug, "Missed you a lot!" She told her mother with so much excitement, her mother laughed at her daughter's excitement and hugged her back. "Hi, love" her mother greeted the girl standing aside smiling at the scene in front of her. "Hey, Sarah" Ebru said hugging Aviana's mother with so much adoration. Ebru loved Aviana's family, she loved their connection. She only wished she had that with her family, she pushed the thought away quickly not wanting to ruin the day for anyone. But not quick enough for Aviana not to see it, she caught her sad smile and she intertwined their fingers together, "I love you," she whispered in her ear, as Ebru looked at her with a small sad smile only hoping Aviana meant it the way she did, "I love you, too".
