The week went by quickly, and soon enough I was waking up on Saturday morning. My birthday. I sat up, and looked around. Light was streaming through my curtains, and I yawned. Where was aunt Harriet? She usually woke me up by shouting happy birthday. I shrugged to myself, and got into the shower. When I was finished, I brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair. I then changed into a cute and short floral dress I had bought from "Forever 21".

I then walked downstairs, and it was utterly quiet. Where was aunt Harriet? Had she left or something? Usually I could hear the pots and pans clanging, but today the kitchen was eerily quiet. I walked into the living room.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Voices shouted.

There was Cecily, Isabelle, Clary, Alec, Simon, Gabriel, Jace, Will, and aunt Harriet. The girls were smiling crazily, Alec, Simon, and Gabriel were grinning at me, and for reasons I didn't understand, Jace and Will were smirking at me. Aunt Harriet raced up and hugged me.

"Happy Birthday, Tessie." She said, while hugging me.

I smiled. "Thank you."

She pulled away from me. "I've decided to let you be with your friends today. Me, you, and Nate will all go out for dinner tomorrow. They have plans for you." Aunt Harriet winked at Cecily, who chuckled.

She then kissed me on the cheek, and left the house. Then, Clary, Izzy, and Cecy ran over to me and almost tackled me to the ground.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESSA!!" They practically screamed.

I laughed, and hugged them back. After that, they finally pulled away from me, Alec, Simon, and Gabriel came up and hugged me, wishing me the same. Jace came up and hugged me, looking amused and saying happy birthday. Finally came Will. He came up and hugged me, and then pulled away and kissed me on the cheek.

"Happy birthday, baby." Will smirked.

I rolled my eyes at him, grinning. The girls started squealing at the sight of us together, and I only chuckled.

"Okay, let's go now! I can't wait anymore!" Isabelle exclaimed excitedly.

"Go where?" I raised an eyebrow.

Clary grinned. "You'll see!"

We all piled into our cars, and somehow I ended up going with Will. I got into his car, and he started driving.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"I got specific orders from Clary, Cecily, and Izzy not to tell you." He said, amused.

"Will." I whined.

He chuckled. "Sorry, Tess."

I only sighed, and looked out of the window. The drive seemed to drag on, and every once in awhile I would glance over at Will. His blue eyes were lazily focused on the road, his black hair falling a bit in his face. I looked back out the window, my heart beating faster. He was so freaking beautiful. Suddenly, his fingertips grazed my bare thigh. I jumped, and Will chuckled. He laid his hand flat on my thigh, sending sparks through my entire body. He started to trace circles on my bare leg, and my heart started to beat faster.

"Don't." I breathed.

He smirked. "You get turned on so easy."

No, you turn me on so easily. "Can you not."

Will laughed. "You're cute."

He took his hand off my leg, and I blushed and sighed. We drove a bit longer, and then Will pulled into the parking lot. My eyes widened when I saw where we were. The fair. I squealed excitedly, and he chuckled amusedly. We got out of his car, and joined everyone else. I hugged the girls tightly, and we all squealed excitedly. We all got out tickets, and they all paid for mine (much to my dismay) and then we all walked in.

"What should we do first?" Jace asked casually.

"Roller coaster!" Isabelle exclaimed, and grabbed Simon's hand.

We all followed them, chuckling. The line for the ride took ten minutes, and finally we all got on. I sat in a cart beside Will, and I quickly buckled myself in. Let's just say, that the roller coaster was terrifying. I screamed the entire ride, and Will had laughed at me, not even looking scared. Even after we had gotten off, I was still shaking from the rush of it all.

"You sounded like you were five years old, Tessa." Jace laughed.

"Shut up." I blushed, glaring at him.

He laughed, and Will looked amused. Afterwards, we went on tons of rides, and they all seemed to blur together. We stopped for a bit, and bought lunch, which they all insisted to pay for me. I reluctantly let them, and we all ended up having hamburgers and fries.

"So," I started. "Have long have you all been planning this?"

"About a week. We had to make sure it was okay with your aunt, first, of course." Clary stated.

"Whose idea was it?" I asked, smiling lightly.

"Will's." Isabelle smirked at me.

My eyes widened, and flicked over to him. Will was blushing, and grinning at me.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." He blushed again, and looked away from me.

I noticed that Jace was smirking at him, but then again when was he not. After lunch, we went on a few more rides, and then we all decided to go on the Ferris wheel. It was decided that Clary would go with Jace, Isabelle with Simon, Cecily with Gabriel, and finally Will and I. Alec was forced to go on with a boy who looked Asian, who was wearing crazy clothes. He looked about our age.

"But Izzy I'd rather just wait for you guys down here." Alec said uncomfortably, shooting nervous glances at the boy.

Isabelle made an impatient noise. "Look at the way he's looking at you, he likes you Alec."

Alec swore under his breath and made his was into the cart beside the boy, and then we all got into ours. I thought I heard the boy say his name was Magnus, to Alec. Will and I were sitting so our legs and shoulders were side by side. The ride started, and Will rested his arm behind me on, on the chair. I grinned to myself, and blushed. We were up so high, and I felt my palms start to sweat.

"So, did you enjoy your birthday?" Will started casually.

I smiled. "Yeah, it was great."

He smirked. "I'm glad. Wait till you see what Izzy got you."

I chuckled. "I'm scared now."

"You probably should be." Will laughed.

I smiled. I could feel the heat radiating off him, and my heart started to beat faster. How had I gone from hating him, to loving him in a matter of a month? It blew my mind. Suddenly, I felt Will lean in and gently kiss my cheek, and then pull away.

"What was that for?" I was probably as red as a tomato.

"Well, it's your birthday isn't it?" Will grinned cheekily.

I rolled my eyes and playfully hit him in the arm, and he chuckled. This boy, I thought to myself.
