"You guys should sleepover." Cecily stated.
We all had come back inside from going swimming, and we were all sitting in their basement. Everyone else agreed, but I felt uneasy. I really didn't want to spend the night in the same house as Will.
"What about you, Tessa?" Cecily asked. "You've got to stay."
I bit my lip, nervously. "Alright."
I gingerly looked over at Will, who was already looking at me. He cleared his throat.
"You should tutor me, tomorrow." He said simply.
Oh yeah, I had forgot the about that. My cheeks flamed at the thought of being alone with Will, especially under these circumstances. I only nodded my head, and looked away from him.
"What should we do?" Isabelle sighed. "I'm bored."
Just then Jace started to smirk, and went upstairs. He returned a few minutes later, with about a dozen black guns in his hands.
"Yes! I'm totally ready for this." Will grinned wildly, already knowing what we were going to play.
"Are those paintball guns?" Clary raised an eyebrow.
"Sort of. It isn't actually paint in them, just hard little balls." Jace explained.
Will snickered. "Nice choice of words."
Jace smirked and laughed, and so did Will.
"How do you have so many?" Isabelle asked.
Jace shrugged. "Will and I got them for Christmas last year."
Simon shrugged. "I'll play."
"Me too." Cecily piped up.
We eventually all agreed. We decided to play capture the flag, with the guns. We divided the house into two sides, and we would each hide a small plastic orange cone. If you got hit with a bullet, you were in jail.
"What are the teams going to be?" Gabriel asked.
"Will and Jace have to be spilt up." Isabelle said immediately.
The two boys groaned sadly.
"Why?" Jace whined.
"Because you're too good together." Cecily added in.
They only sighed, and looked sad.
"How about Izzy, Tessa, Will and I, and Clary, Jace, Gabriel, and Cecy?" Simon suggested.
"Alright." I agreed.
We all then grabbed a gun, and went to our separate parts of the house. Isabelle, Simon, Will, and I all walked outside, since we could also hide the cone there, too. Once we were sure they couldn't see us, Will dropped to his knees and started to dig up the grass.
"Um, what are you doing?" Isabelle asked.
"Burying the cone." Will replied.
"But it has to be showing a bit." I pointed.
"I know, I'll leave it like a centimetre out." He smirked.
Simon then bent down and started to help Will. Five minutes later, the cone was buried, and then we went back inside. We waited on our side, until the other team came to meet us.
