Chapter 1- " I am that Girl"

Kath's POV

Beep....Beep...Beep.. Beep..

Ok that's the sound of my first alarm.

6:45AM... ( snooze off! )

Ayoko  pa bumangon, I am still sooooo sleepy..

I adjusted my comforter trying to go back to sleep.

Beep... Beep...Beep...Beep..

What the? That second alarm was so effin' fast.

Time check 7AM.

Sige Kath mag puyat ka pa, ginusto mo yan di ba.. ( While holding my head ) well I didn't want this.. Of course I want my 8 hrs sleep, but can you blame me? I just heard the news na talaga namang nag patigil ng mundo ko..

Flashback ( Last Night)

" Mom! Dinner is ready... "

Mom: Wow! Look what we have here. Looks delicious!

" Yes Mom.. Remember when you attended our simulation sa culinary? Those are the dishes na ginawa namin.
I just want to do it again para ma try naman ni Kuya Kevin. "

Mom: Perfect! Yaya Rosie can you call Kevin and Diego please paki sabi kakain na.

A minute later

Kevin: Don't tell me Si Kath nag luto ng food na nakikita ko ngayon??

Mom: Then I won't tell you! Haha.. Of course sino pa ba reyna na ng kusina dito..

"Mom naman reyna talaga? syempre kanino pa ba ako mag mamana kung hindi sa iyo din.. "

Diego: Hi Tita.. Hi Kath, I am going home na sana, but my hungry stomach stopped me.. Naamoy yung masasarap na luto mo...

Kevin: Ano ba Bro amg daming food , just stay para ka naman ibang tao niyan..

" Oo nga naman Diego just enjoy the food, these are new dishes na hindi niyo pa natitikman ni Kuya Kevs. "

Diego: Thank you..

Mom: Hmmmm.. This is soo good anak!

" Thanks Mom "

Kevin: Magaling ka na mag luto eh, pero mas lalo ka ng gumaling when you took Culinary..

Diego: I agree! Ngayon you even pay attention on  how you plate the food. It's like we are eating on a fine dining restaurant . Astig! I know you'll be successful once you'll put up your own business when you are done with your Culinary.

" Thank you Diego! Sobra na yata yan pambobola .. Don't worry makaka ulit ka pa din nman ng dinner dito! Haha.. "

Mom: Speaking of business, I heard the Padilla's are coming back home from the States.

Tugtug..Tugtug..Tugtug (heartbeats fast)

Kevin: The Padilla, as in Tito Romel and Tita Karla? Yung nakatira sa Jupiter Street?

Mom: May iba pa bang Padilla dito sa subdivision natin? Of course sila.. I heard from Karla's sister Anna that they are planning to put up a business here.

OMG THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING...

Kevin: That's nice! Eh how about DJ? Haven't heard from him for such a looooong time.. 8 years i think to be exact.

Mom: Anna said DJ's coming home too..

" Uggghhh... Uggghh.. .. Uggghhh "

Diego: Kath are you ok?

Mom: Anak, dahan dahan lang sa pag kain nabubulunan ka tuloy..

Kevin: (while patting my back.. )you ok there sis?  

He's Coming back?.. He's coming back!
