Chapter 31 " Forgotten "

KATH'S POV

DJ and I were seated on the hotel lounge were Cara was staying. We were suppose to meet her here and give her a ride going to her friend's place.

Hi Daniel!

I heard a voice said from afar. When I looked up that's when I saw her.

She was wearing a denim shorty short and a tank top, She has a smooth and white complexion. She has an average height. Her hair was on a messy bun. What really catches my attention when she came near us was her eyes. She got brown eyes and when she smiles two dimple appeared on her cheeks.

She is gorgeous.

When she stopped in front of us, she leaned down and gave DJ a peck on the cheek.

DJ just stood motionless for a few seconds then he cleared his throat to introduce me.

DJ: By the way Cara I would like you to meet my girlfriend Kath. Kath this is Cara.

Cara: Oohhhh.. Hi there Kath! It's nice to finally meet you. DJ has told me so much about you.

" Ahhh really? It's nice to meet you too Cara. "

I extended my hand to shake hers but instead she leaned down and gave me a short embrace.

DJ: All right let's go.

We've been travelling for an hour and we haven't reach the house where we were supposed to drop Cara off. The traffic was brutal and what's worst I am seated on the passenger seat quietly listening to DJ and Cara's story about their past.

You could hear " Do you remember this.. Do you remember that.. " as they keep on exchanging their stories.

Cara: Do you remember when you got me into trouble  during Mr. Staninski's class?

Daniel: Oh yes how could I forget.. It's because I terribly need my notes from you that time! Haha!

Cara: You could have atleast ask permission and get it! Instead of throwing crampled paper on the window with notes written " this class is so boring!" The professor thought it was my hand writing! You should have seen his face Daniel!

And they both burst out laughing. I just pretended that I am busy texting someone. I admit Cara is nice but I couldn't help but to feel jealous of her. They have spent few years together while they were in the States and both of them attended the same  school. They have this connection with each other.

And what's bothering me too is that she get to call him Daniel!

I got lost with what I am thinking when I didn't know that DJ has been talking to me.

DJ: Babe?... Hey are you ok?

" Of course!.. It's just that I am waiting for Arisse to text me "

Lie.

DJ: Why? Do you need something from her? Why don't you just give her a call?

" It's alright maybe she is busy.. "

I said to him as I return my gaze on the window watching the vehicles that passes by.
