Chapter 13 " DJ here, there and everywhere "

KATH's POV

Did I heard it right? He loved me?
I was out of words sa narinig ko. Why is he saying this to me just now? Why?..

" DJ.. I don't know what to say? "

DJ: You don't have to say anything. I'm sorry kung ngayon ko lang sinasabi lahat ng to'.. 

I want to be honest with him to. Since it's all in the past, so be it... Here it goes..

" DJ.. I did loved you too.. Isn't obvious? I even went to see you before you left and .. and...I even... "

DJ: Kiss me?...

" Yeah.. "

I admit embarassingly. I still remember  what happened that day when I just came into his room.

" Tignan mo nga naman! We both had feelings for each other when we were young, it's just that we're both too young to know it or should I say too young to admit it.. But we have moved on.. Right? I have Dom now. How about you wala ka pa naikukuwento? Do you have a girlfriend? "

He was silent for a moment and in deep thoughts..

DJ: No. I don't have any girlfriend at the moment. Dominic is so lucky to have you. I hope he takes good care of you..

This conversation is getting serious. Bakit ba eto pa napag usapan namin.

" You too.. I mean, I hope you'll meet the right girl soon.. "

DJ: I don't know if I will still meet the right girl for me.. I already had a chance before but I let her go..

Ha? May nakilala na ba siya before?.. I don't want to assume that it's me that he's talking about.. Or can I?

" Ahhhm. I should go DJ. "

I was about to open the door when he stopped me.

DJ: Wait I'll do it. Hatid kita sa gate.. And don't forget your shopping bags.

He opened the passenger door and helped me carry all the shopping bags. We were at the gate when I invited him to come inside.

DJ: I better go, next time na lang and you still have class tomorrow.

" Ok.. Thanks again for everything.. "

DJ: No problem..

We were just standing for a few seconds while non of us was moving.. Should I go inside or should I bid him goodnight? I chose the latter. I came near him and stop in front of him as I tip toed and gave him a peck on the cheek.

" Good night DJ. Text me when you get back home. "

As I turn around and left him standing while I close the gate. I hurriedly went inside. My hearts beating fasts and I support myself by leaning at the door.

" Kath.. Inhale......Exhale.. Kalma.. "

I hurriedly went inside my room. Good thing walang nakakita sa akin na pumasok. I washed up and lie down on my bed as I recalled the whole night that just happened. I was grinning  from ear to ear.
