Chapter 30 " Turmoil "

KATH'S POV

I tried to push down the dress that I am wearing. It was hugging my body really tight and I match it up with one of my stilletos.

The elevator opened and I got in and hit the button going to DC Global's executive floor. I checked once again my reflection on the mirror. I tried to look extra good for today, because I want to surprise DJ at work. I hang up on him yesterday and I felt guilty for doing that. I had my hair down, my face was also bare without any trace of make up except for the red lipstick that's screaming red on me.

I decided to surprise him by paying him a visit on his office. I actually have work  today but I texted Chef Mark that I have some important thing that I need to do and thankfully he permitted me to go.

When I reached the right floor, I approached the glass door and I was immediately greeted by their receptionist. Another pretty face who works here.

Good Morning. How can I help you?

Hi Good Morning. I'm actually looking for DJ. Is he there right now?

Oh.. Yes Sir DJ's  in his office right now.. Do you have an  appointment with him?

I was about to tell her that I am his girlfriend when his personal assistant came. I admit I am feeling a little bit jealous of her, it's because she's his personal assistant, she's beautiful and she gets to be with him everyday.

Abby: Hi Ms. Kath! Good Morning

" Hi Abby Good Morning. Is he busy? "

Abby: He just came in thirty minutes ago medyo na late nga..

Really?.. DJ late?.. As far as I know he's a punctual one.

" Can I go and see him? Actually he didn't know that I am coming today. "

Abby: Of course Ms. Kath, go ahead.

She said sincerely. She is really nice.

I went straight to his office. Now I felt nervous, I didn't know why. Maybe because we haven't seen each other for three days now and the last time we talked it didn't end well. I straightened my dress once again and knock on his door. When he didn't answer I just let myself in.

I tried to adjust myself on the surrounding. I spotted him on the far corner of his room talking to someone on his phone. He had his back facing me while he's  looking on his window. He's oozing with confidence. He's wearing an off white long sleeve shirt which he had it tucked in on his black slacks. My junior executive. It made me smile.

He still didn't notice my presence on the room.

You can do it Kath. I said to myself.

I leaned myself on the door with a poise as he continue his conversation with the person on the other end of the line.

DJ: Yes.. The delivery were suppose to arrive yesterday. Uhuh.. They should have atleast contact us, if they can't do it we might as well look for another supplier. Yeah.. Alright call me back . Thanks man..

He ended the call and released a long sigh then he turn around and stopped on his track when he saw me. His gaze travelled down my body and back to my face as he made a huge gulp.
