Chapter 13

Chapter 13:

Well, after the whole bathroom scenario, I decided that I needed to find the rest of the gang to apologize and explain what happened.
"Do you know where they're at?" I asked, walking down the hall.
"Well, it's 7th period. They're probably up in the dance rooms practicing for their concert."
"Concert?" I looked at Min Su questioningly. "You didn't tell me they had a concert!"
"Yeah, why do you think they're so famous? Haven't you seen the posters everywhere?"
"Well yeah, but I thought that the art students did those."
"Nope. All their crazy fangirls did that..." she said, with a straight face and such a twinge of anger in her eyes that I had to laugh.
"I see! So, you said they're in the dance rooms?" I asked, quickly trying to change the subject.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure."
"All right," I said as I started to walk down the hall. "Aren't you coming with me?"
"Of course! What if they stampede you? I need to peel you off the ground when they're done."
"Wow, thanks for the encouraging words, Min Su," I said with a slight sarcastic tone.
"Anytime Jess, aaannytime."

Walking up the dreaded stairs, I thought about how I was going to explain everything to them. Will Brie help me out? What, are you crazy Jess? He's already helping you with Tae and Min Su AND He got you out of that...situation, plus he found you in the bathroom. I shook my head to clear the memories out of my already messed up brain. Once we got to the empty hallway, I wondered what rooms they were in.
"Hey, what rooms are they in?" I asked questioningly
"Well, today they have a group practice. So, probably Room #4."
I walked down the hall until I finally reached the room. Standing before the door, I took a breath then slowly opened the door to a blast of music. I poked my head in, and then the "stampede" happened.
"JESS!!!!!" yelled Tae, which then caused Key to turn around which then made him accidentally slap Jong. Funny moment there let me tell ya! Then, the "stampede" literally ran to the door, jerked it open and pulled me in. Of course, Min Su helped me so much by pushing me.
"JESS!!! Where were you?!?"
"I'm not tellin' you! I may need to hide there again!" I said, laughter filling the room. "Guys, I'm really sorry, especially to you Key. I didn't mean to yell at you. I didn't really want to explain why I got hurt, that's why I ran. I'm sorry."
"It's ok Jess, We love you, that's why we were looking for you like crazy people. That is, until Jong painfully took us here to practice." said Key, glaring at Jong.
"What?!? You had to practice!! Which, speaking of practice, you wanna come practice with us Jess?" Asked Jong, his eyes looking at me intently.
"I-I don't know..." I replied sheepishly
"Of course she does!" Replied an unknown voice in the back, causing all the guys to look back, of course, Brie. GAAAAAAHHHHHH! NO BRIE!!! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?
"Ok! Let's go then! But! We're finding out what happened later, Arrasso?" Questioned Jong.
"Ok... But! How 'bout I watch you guys first?, just to see what I've gotten myself into, Brie!"
"What babe? You know you want to!" Said Brie, looking me over. Great, his player act is back. I rolled my eyes, then sat down on the floor in front of them.
"Ok guys. You wanna do it for me so I can see what I'm doin' here?" I said, ready to push the "play" button.
"Whatdaya say guys? You wanna run through it once more before the classes come in?"
After all agreeing, I pushed the play button. The music started rushing through my veins, passing through me like a vapor. I breathed in the familiar scent of the dance room, while watching the boys dance to one of their songs, the beat made me feel so alive! The dance steps moved me so deeply, I had forgotten how much I missed dance. Like an old friend, I embraced it in my heart. Once the music finally stopped, I applauded, because frankly, they were EXTREMELY good! Oh boy Brie, what have you gotten me into?
"Wow Guys! You sure you want a mediocre dancer like me with you?"
"Well, show us some of your moves girl, and we'll find out!" Said Key, nudging me with his elbow.
"You sure you wanna watch?"
"For Heaven's sake Jess! Just go!" Yelled Min Su, grabbing her iPhone and handing it to me.
"Its ok, Min Su. I've got a song I could dance to...thankfully." Flipping through the songs on my dance playlist, I decided to dance to "As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber. Not my favorite artist, but my FAVORITE song to dance to. I walked over to the iDock and all the guys moved over to the side, obviously fearing what I was going to do.
"Oh thanks guys! Really feelin' it here!" I said with love, of course.
"What?! We don't want to get kicked in the face or something." Said Jong, laughing.
"Oh Whatever..." I said, as I pushed the play button.

The moves worked through my body, my feet moving with the music. The tutting, the passion, the love, the heart I put into this. I hadn't danced in forever, but I knew once I started, it was very hard to stop. I didn't care about anything else when I danced, my whole world melted away once that music started. My heart went to my feet and my hands moved like ribbons in the air, but quick like whips. I loved the feeling of exhilaration it gave me, but all too soon it stopped. When the music stopped, my heart kind-of sank, but quickly got over it when all of my spectators were clapping hysterically. I turned to them and bowed, but they were all still clapping. Aigoo, this is really embarrassing.
"You did a REALLY good job Jess!" Exclaimed Key
"Yeah Jess! And you thought you couldn't dance." Said Jong, jokingly.
"Dang Jess! You've got some moves!" said Brie, wriggling his eyebrows.
"Yeah yeah...Ok, whatever y'all say. I however am ready to dance in a group." I said, resting my head on my chin, "thinking"
"Hmm, I wonder who would need a new dancer?" said Key, going along with my comment, smiling
"How 'bout ours?" said Jong, with an enlightened look on his face. We all knew what the answer was though.
"Sure, Why not?" I said, excited that I would once again begin dancing.
