Chapter 15:

Standing in front of the door, Brie slowly opened it, walked in and turned on the lights, with me following. The room was HUGE, almost twice the size of the dance room we were in before, which was pretty good size. I stood there with my mouth gaping open like a codfish.

"Surprised, babe?" he said in a low voice, sliding his arms around my waist to give me a backwards hug.

"Uh," I said, pushing his arms off slowly. "Yeah!" I cleared my throat, which felt thick. "It's great!"

"You okay? Gettin' nervous?" he asked, walking in front of me, his expensive, manly cologne wafting tantalizingly in the air.

"Pssh, me g-get nervous? No! Never!" I said, trying to convince him that the cold, pleasant sweat overtaking my body was nothing.

"Like I said earlier, I can calm you down," he reminded me, sliding his hand over my soft cheek, then caressing my neck. I felt him pulling me closer, and closer. Oh God, does he... Is he... NO! JESS, GET A FREAKING GRIP! He's just messing with you, like Jake did.

But we were so close, his breath fanning my lips, his big, brown eyes stared into my grey-blue ones, and I felt my resolve begin to crumble. No Jess! DO NOT fall for this!

I closed my eyes and slowly, almost reluctantly, pushed him away, knowing that this was probably a trick.

"Let's just...get to work, okay?" I said in English, hopefully conveying that I was truly serious.

"Okay, babe," he said, also in English. Geez! His accent was so sexy!

"So! What song should we do?" I asked, trying to settle the butterflies in my stomach.

"I was thinking about 'Beautiful Hangover' by BigBang. Have you ever heard it?" he asked, walking over to the iDock.

"I don't think so..." Geez, Jess, you need to get into this stuff since you're living here now.

"Here, I have it on my phone," he said, relinquishing it.

"Great!"

After the song...

I. Love. K-Pop. Hands down. Never listening to American trash again. Different dance moves instantly came to my mind during the song, the feelings that the music gave me were indescribable. When the song was over, I was speechless. I gaped at Brie with a look of astonishment.

"You like?" All I could muster was a quick nod and "Uh-huh!"

He laughed at me with a genuine smile on his face, which was something I had NEVER seen before this day.

"Come on, we have to get some dance moves put together," Brie said, taking my hand and pulling me up off the floor.

After working my butt off to figure out dance moves for this AMAZING song, my muscles were screaming, "STOP! Stop right now! I'm dying here!" So, I had to comply with my body's cries and call it quits.

"Brie, I think we've worked enough on this today. Let's call it quits," I said, point-blank.

He nodded. "All right, babe, whatever you say." I grabbed my water, jacket, and my phone, while Brie grabbed his.

Walking down the hall to the main dance room, the silence was...well...silent. The only thing that I heard were our footsteps down the hall, and the murmur of students' voices in the assorted dance rooms. Once we got in the main dance room, the buzz of students filled the room. Brie and I walked to the back, standing next to Min Su and Tae. I gave a small wave to Min Su, who smiled and waved back.
