I woke up the next morning feeling wrung out. "Rena you okay?" Akoya asked as we set out. I ingnored her and held back a little so I could talk to Sora. "Where to next, Sora?" I asked him. "Um....well.....um" he stammered. Achoo Akoya sneezed. "Um, Rena could we take a break, my feet hurt" Akoya asked.

I sighed. "Fine, we'll take a break" I mumbled. Akoya sighed in relief and sank down onto the ground. "I have an old map that could tell us where we at?" Ice asked. "That could help" I answered. Ice and I looked over his map, it was tattered and weathered in places but still readable. "So if we head east, we would have to cross a river to an unmarked island and if we head south, we would end up in another unmarked territory, so our only option is Goranga City?" I asked.

"But to get there we would have to through a river called the Acid River and we don't know much about it" Ice answered. "Is there any other way?" I asked. "No not really" Ice answered. I sighed unhappily. "Tell the others we're going now" I said.

Achoo Reni, I can't, I'm sick" Akoya said. "You can be carried, right?" I asked. "Yes, Icey carry me?" she asked. "Shit, why?" he asked. "Cause I said!" I barked angrily. "All right" he whimpered. "Why is Rena like this?" Meka asked.

"I don't know it could be the stress of keeping us together, or it could be because Axel left" White Wolf guessed. "Hey little ray of darkness, what's wrong?" Kazuma asked. DON'T EVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN!" I growled. Akoya giggled. "Kazzy got yelled at by Reni" Akoya said. Kazuma shot her a dark look.

I wonder how Sora's doing?" Kiba asked himself. "Why think of him when your with me" Toratani said. "He's my brother and I wonder how he's holding up" Kiba said, looking out the window.

"Made it" Meka said, exhaustedly. "We'll make camp here, then start crossing the river" Dr. Aoshi said. "Sounds good" Ice said. "Wanna be near the fire, Rena?" Ice asked. "No thanks, I'm fine" I answered. "Suit yourself, hey White Wolf could you pass a marshmallow, please?" Ice asked. "Sure Ice" she said.

"Hey little ray of darkness, want to go for a walk?" Kazuma asked. "I told you, NEVER TO CALL ME THAT!" I yelled, walking away. "Want me to join you?" Sora asked. "Do whatever you want" I growled, leaving. Sora looked at the others for help, that's when he saw Meka mouth the word go at him, he left to follow me. I walked to the river, acid bubbles burbled up and popped. "That looks fun" I said looking at the puddle.

"I know your there Sora, stop hiding!" I yelled. "How the hell did you know it was me?" he asked. "I have ears" I answered without looking. "Oh is this the river?" he asked, getting closer. "You probably shouldn't stand so close" I advise as a bubble came up. "I'll be fine" he said, leaning close, unaware of the bubble. "Sora!" I yelled, pushing him out of the way.

The bubble busted and landed on my face right in my eyes. I yelped in pain. Sora recovered and came to me. "Rena, are you all right?" Sora asked. Sora where are you I can't see?" I asked. "Wait here I'll get Dr. Aoshi" Sora said. Sora ran to the camp, as fast light.

"Dr. Aoshi!" Sora yelled. "Slow down, youg'n, what's got you in a tizzy?" he asked. "Something's wrong with Rena, I need your help" he said anxiously. "All right take me to her" he said, following him. "Rena I'm back, with Dr. Aoshi" Sora said. "Rena, are you okay?" Dr. Aoshi asked. "Do I look okay!" I snapped.

"Let's take you back to the camp, I'll see what I can do for you" Dr. Aoshi suggested. When we returned to the camp Kazuma saw me and reacted. "What the hell did you do to my precious Rena, Sora!" Kazuma yelled. "I didn't do anything!" he snarled. GUYS ENOUGH!" I snarled. "Sorry Rena" they said. "Honestly" I sighed.

"How you holding up kid?" Ice asked. "All right" I muttered. "You look miserable" White Wolf pointed out. "I feel miserable" I said. "How are we going to cross the river with Rena being blind?" Akoya asked. "Easy, carry her" Kazuma said slyly. "That's simple" Dr. Aoshi said.

"Not for the carrying me" I muttered. "Whose going to carry her?" Ice asked. "I will" Kazuma volunteered. "No, me" Sora volunteered. Soon they started fighting. "Guys, enough!" I yelled, jumping off Dr. Aoshi's back. Dr. Aoshi inhaled sharply.

"I'll be fine" I reassured, hitting a tree. "That doesn't count!" I yelled at the tree. "Rena, I think for your own safety, you should be carried" Dr. Aoshi said. "Can't you guys make a sled or something?" I asked to no one in particular. "Actually that's not a bad idea, we could make a sled" White Wolf said. "I don't like the look on White Wolf's face, it's either she's thinking or she's getting ready to do something to me" Ice said, backing away. " I need a piece of paper and a pencil, I have an idea" she said.

"Here you go" Dr. Aoshi said, handing White Wolf a piece of paper and a pencil. "Rena, I'll need you" White Wolf said. "Um, where are you?" I asked. "Stay right there" she told me. "Why?" I asked. "Because there's a mine there" she lied. "Oh, okay" I said, sitting down.

A few hours later she was done. "Done!" White Wolf yelled. I was asleep. "Rena, you awake?" she asked me. "Yes" I answered. "Good , I designed a sled specially for you" she told me. "All right, sounds good, good night" I said to White Wolf as she went inside her tent.

In my dream. "Where did we go wrong?" I asked Meziku. "With who?" she asked. "With Silver" I answered, frustrated. "Hey, don't beat yourself up" Meziku said with a smile.

"We were such good friends, now Silver and Kiba are gone, Akitaoshi is being held hostage and Axel's gone, who else is going away?" I asked. "Hey, you still have have the others, keep them close" Meziku said. We heard a groaning sound. "Your waking up" Meziku said. "When can I talk to you?" I asked.

"Whenever you need a friend" she answered, before disappearing. "Rena, it's time" Sora said. "All right" I said, sleepily.
