Chapter 11: Goranga City! Reunited with Axel and the clue about Red-Eye's castle

"Are you good to go, Rena?" Dr. Aoshi asked. "Yes, go slowly" I answered. "Okay, we're going toward the rocks" Aoshi told me. "How about this, we'll let Aoshi go first then Sora follows close behind, so that way the sled doesn't fall, the rest of us will follow close behind" White Wolf instructed. "Yes!" they all agreed. While on the way there Sora heard Aoshi mumbling. "Hey, Aoshi what'cha mumbling about?" Sora asked. "I'm going over my bucket list" Aoshi answered.

"Why are you going over your bucket list, aren't you only twenty?" Sora asked. "Ah that's where your wrong old friend, I could die anytime of day, I could die right now!" Aoshi explained. There was a creak and a snap that happened right behind Sora. "What was that?" Sora asked. "I don't know" Aoshi answered. "It's the sled, it's slipping hurry and grab it!" Sora yelled. Aoshi tried to grab it, but it slipped.

"Sora!" Aoshi screamed. Sora jumped and twisted and changed to his wolf form. "Got it" he said between his teeth. After that little incident, we made our way slowly but we finally made it. "We made it!" Aoshi shouted. "Sora, were are we?" I asked. "We're in Goranga City" he answered.

"We made it!" Kazuma yelled. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to the bar, see ya" I said, staggering off. "Hey Aoshi, you said on your bucket list you wanted to be a bartender, there's one over there" Sora suggested. Aoshi studied it for a minute and made his decision. "Yes chap, I think I'll go there" he said. Inside the bar, there was a crowd surrounding a girl. "Chug! Chug" the crowd chanted. "Who! I'll tell ya what Axel, I'll get you another drink" the girl said.

"Hit mah!" he slurred. A guy whistled. "Ain't she a cutie?" another guy asked. "Oh no" Axel whispered. "What's wrong?" the girl asked. Axel scooted himself down in the chair to where only his eyes and part of his arm was visible. "That's my leader, Rena" he whispered. "She stole my crowd" the girl pouted.

"Hey babe, you wanna go outside?" a guy asked me drunkly. "No, but I do need to find a table" I answered. "Hey guys, watch this!" the girl yelled. Her shirt slipped off her shoulder, causing the majority of the males to go watch her dance. After awhile she sat down. "I'm tired" she said. "Yeah" Axel muttered.

"If your so worried about Rena noticing you, here" she said putting make-up on Axel. "Hey Rena, come here!" the girl yelled. "Wait is that Kyoshi?" I asked, looking around. "Hey chick!" a guy yelled. I made my way over to the table and sat down. "Have you met my friend, Koshi?" she asked. Um, where are you?" I asked, touching her face.

I heard a snap. "Yep, that Kyoshi" I answered myself. "I don't think I' be had the pleasure" I answered, touching his face. "That's funny, Koshi's face feels like Axels' face" I mumbled. "Um why is your friend talking to a wall?" the bartender asked. "She's blind, give her a drink on the house" Kyoshi ordered. "Sure" he answered. "Here you go, Rena" Kyoshi said, handing me the drink.

I sniffed it, it smelled good so I tipped it into my mouth. I gagged at the taste of the drink, I blinked. "I can see again!" I exclaimed happily. I look toward Kyoshi and Koshi. "That's not Koshi, that's Axel!" I exclaimed. Kyoshi giggled. "Surprise" she said.

Axel smirked. "I have news that might help us get Akitaoshi back" he told me. "Tell me" I said anxiously. Axel sat down beside me. "A couple weeks ago two guys came in here talking about a girl with brown hair was being held in Red-Eye's castle, my guess is that they have Akitaoshi somewhere hidden" Axel explained. "Thanks Axel, meet us at the entryway of the next road" I ordered. Axel turned around to see Aoshi.

"I can check being a bartender off my list" Aoshi said giddly. "Aoshi your a doctor why are you bartending?" Axel asked. "Well technically I'm not supposed to be here, but it was the only way to get Rena to take the potion, now I'm leaving before the bar keeper comes about" Aoshi said walking out the door. "Wait, Rena!" Axel yelled, running out the door. We walked in silence when I had a thought.

I need a sword. "Hey Axel, can you come with me to get a sword?" I asked him. "Your not going to kill me, are you?" he asked, scaredly. "No, now come on!" I yelled, dragging him into the shop. A bell tinkled above us. "Welcome to my shop, how can I help you?" the clerk asked. "Can you show us your best swords?" I asked.

He smiled. "Right this way" he said leading us to a big cabinet. "Shout if you found something of interest" he said. "Wow many to choose from, how can I find the right one?" I asked in wonder. "Find the one that speaks to you " Axel answered. A few hours later, Axel was half asleep. "Have you find one yet?" he asked.

"I can't choose between the Otashi Boar sword or the Black Vampire" I answered. "I choose the Black Vampire" I said, putting the Otashi Boar away. We walked back to the front of the shop. "That will be one thousand yen" the clerk said. "Hang on a minute" I said, looking around to find my money. Axel moved me aside and put a single yen on the counter. "Thank you, wait a minute is this a solid gold yen?" the clerk asked.

"Yes" Axel answered. "Let me check to see if it's real" he said. Axel looked at me. "You believe me right?" he asked. "Of course I do" I lied. The clerk put the yen in his mouth and chomped on it, breaking his tooth. "Ow! it seems your yen is real, have a good day" he mumbled.

We excited the shop. "Yes, I finally have a sword!" I yelled excitedly. I looked at Axel who was smiling. "By the way Axel, how were you able to pay for it?" I asked him. Flashback "Good-bye Rena" he said giving me a hug, as he swiped my money. End of flashback. "Found it on the side if the road" he lied.

"Let's go meet the others at the road" I said. "Rena" a voice whispered faintly to me, I looked toward Axel and saw Meziku. "Ssh" she said to me. "Earth to Rena" Axel said waving his hand in front of my face. "I'm fine" I said. We started walking when I felt a tug on my leg. "Hmm?" I questioned.

"Behind you" Axel said quietly. I looked down to see a little girl staring at me. "Hello little one" I said. "Could you spare some food?" she asked. "Sure" I said, handing her a loaf of bread. "Thank you" she said gratefully as she walked toward a blonde haired woman. I sighed longingly.

Are you all right, Rena?" Axel asked me. "I'm fine, let's go meet the others" I said fiercely.

Womp Womp "Your free to land" a man said into the pilots headpiece. "Roger" the pilot said. "Attention passengers you are now free to move" he announced. "Come on let's get the crate" the guard said. "The pilot's going to have to help you; remember what she did to me when we were getting her in?" the young guard asked; showing his arm.

"What am I doing?" the pilot asked. "Your helping me carry this thing in; listen to me and your arm will end up like his" the handler said, pointing to the young guy's mangled arm. 'There's no way a little puppy dog could do that much damage, right? " the pilot asked nervously. "Just be careful" the handler said. As they grabbed her cage Akitaoshi growled her fiercest growl. "Aw, she's nothing more than a puppy dog" the pilot mused. A few hours later, the pilot regretted his remark.

"Let go you damn mutt!" the pilot yelled. He smacked Akitaoshi causing her to yelp and release, he moved out of the way and locked the door. "That'll teach you " he said. Akitaoshi growled causing the pilot to move away from the door. "We have the pup where you want her" the guard told Red-Eye through an earpiece. "Good you are dismissed" Red-Eye said to them. They left without a word.

Akitaoshi was pacing in the room when Red-Eye appeared. "What do you want?" Akitaoshi snarled. "Your my guinea pig" he said simply. "Rena, please hurry" Akitaoshi pleaded quietly.

"Axel, let's go!" I yelled. "Coming" he said. "Hey Rena, did you and Axel have a good time?" Ice asked.

"Yep, he got me a sword!" I exclaimed, brandishing Black Vampire around. "Are you ready to go?" White Wolf asked. I put Black Vampire in its sheath. "Let's go get our little girl!" I yelled changing into my wolf form. Arrrroo yowl we all howled and yowled. We ran as one. "Axel where do we turn?" I asked, ducking to avoid being hit by a tree branch.

"Turn now!" he yelled. I turned sharply to the left and continued on. "Have you ever seen a wolf take that sharp of a turn?" Ice asked, amazed. No one answered. "Come on guys!" I barked. "Right" they said.
