Patience's P.O.V.

Evan followed me to the car and got in after me. He put the key in the ignition and turned it, then started to back out of my driveway. He stopped. "Patience, are you sure you want to do this? I'm not sure I feel comfortable with just taking you without Megan's permission." he said to me. "Fuck Megan! She doesn't even want me; I'm just a burden to her!! The only reason she keeps me around is because I do all her housework. She could care less about me as a person. Let's go." I responded. He stared at me for a moment, but I couldn't tell what he was thinking; I was confused. "Okay then" Evan said as he sighed. He continued backing out, and then started driving down my street. I looked out the window for a moment, and then at him. "So. Where we goin?!" I slightly bounced happily and smiled at Evan. He glanced at me and then put his focus back on the road and smiled. "Uhh, well the guys and I are staying at a hotel right now, but I thought I'd take you to get some coffee first?" He asked me. "Wait... I'm meeting the guys?? Today??" I thought to myself as my cheeks turned bright red. Just before I could respond to Evan he said "What are you-holding your breath over there? You're awful red." He chuckled. I couldn't help but to laugh at the way he said it. I told him that coffee sounded nice, so we went to a small little coffee shop before going to the hotel.

Evan came back to the table with two cups of coffee. "Herrre you go." He said as he set my coffee in front of me. As I started to pick it up he said "Watch out! It's hot! Wouldn't wanna' spill it on a stranger's sweater now would we?" I gave him an 'are you serious' look and said "Are you ever going to let me live that down?! I mean come on!! If I hadn't ran into you we might have never found out that we're siblings!!! ...Jerk." He stared at me for a moment before saying "Alright, you got me there" and smiled.

I decided to change the topic. "So. Do the boys-" I trailed off as I noticed I had received a text message. I checked it. Autumn had texted me.

Autumn: Hey bb! What are you up to?? I haven't heard from you in a while.

Patience: Oh hey!! I'm sorry I've had a lot going on lately. How are you?

I'm not sure if I want to tell her just yet about Evan. I don't know if Evan is okay with it, and I don't know how Autumn will react. I put my phone down, and Evan grabbed my attention again. "Do the boys what?" He asked. "Oh. Sorry. A close friend of mine just texted, but uhm, don't worry about it. It was a dumb question." I laughed it off.

Evan and I finished our coffees at nearly the same time. "Alright. Ready to go?" Evan asked me. I nodded my head. I was kind of nervous to meet all the others. I mean, after all this is still one of my favorite bands, but I've had time to warm up to Evan. We got in Evan's car and he started driving to his hotel. It was a little out of the way, but not too far. When we get there Evan grabbed my bag for me, and lead me to the door. He tried to open it, but it was locked. He started patting himself. "Shit." he whispered. He knocked on the door. Manny?? Kevin?? Somebody let me through this damn door. I could hear someone shout through the door, "Hold on! I gotta' finish this pizza!". Evan responded, "Kevin! Now!! I have someone you guys might want to meet." I could hear feet shuffling to the door, and then multiple voices. "You found your dad?!" "Do you have a brother?!" "Hey! What about a sister?!!" "Is she hot?!?!" The door opened. I heard a "whoa" come out of Alix's mouth. I smiled a little. "Guys. I want you to meet Patience. My little sister. Patience, meet the guys." I shyly said hi to them as Evan led me inside. "Patience is going to be staying with us for a bit. Manny, we're now bunking together, she gets my room." Evan stated. "Whoa. Whoa whoa whoa." Kevin said. "She's staying with us??" He continued. "Yup!" Evan said and led me to his, now my, room. It was HUGE. Actually, I didn't even know hotel rooms could have more than one room. As I entered I saw a large window ahead of me with a large desk placed in front of it. It had some of Evan's art work laid out on it. To the right was the bed, and to the left was a walk in closet with mirror doors. To the far right of the bed there was a door, which led to a bathroom. In front of the bed was a large flat screen TV and some gaming systems. The floors were tile, and all the furniture was black. "This will be your room for as long as you stay here. Make yourself comfortable." Evan told me. I sat down on the bed, the blankets were so soft. I smiled up at Evan. "Alright. I'll leave you to it. Holler if you need me." I nodded, and Evan closed the door. I didn't know if I wanted to unpack just yet, so I decided to lay down on the bed.

"Patience. Patieennnce. Pae, wake up."

I groaned and turned over. Sleepily I sad "Did you just call me Pae?" with my eyes still closed. "Uhm. Yes, I did. Sorry to disrupt your slumber, but the guys and I would like to get to know you." I stretched a little and slowly opened my eyes and saw Kevin standing over me. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. "What time is it?" I asked him. "7:00. You've been asleep for a few hours now." He answered me. "Damn. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" Kevin cut me off, "Don't worry about it Patience." I ran my fingers through my hair since I imagined it was a bit tangled. "Okay... Uhm. I'll be out there in a minute." I said to Kevin. He smiled at me and left the room, with the door closed behind him.

I picked up my phone from off the desk and checked it.

Autumn: What's going on?? Are you okay? I'm doing fine.

Patience: Yeah, I'm fine. I just got some family stuff going on at the moment. Nothing bad, I promise. (Which technically wasn't a lie, considering I'm not with Megan anymore, and I just found out Evan Pearce is my half brother.)

I got up and walked into the main area, where all the boys were sitting down. Evan looked up. "Oh! Hey Patience! Come sit!" He patted the seat next to him. I slowly walked over to them and sat where Evan patted. "How was your nap?" Alix asked me. "Oh, it was good." I said and smiled back at him. "Good." He said and smiled back. Manny leaned forward to be apart of the conversation. "So Patience, what do you do?" He asked me. "Oh. Well. I like to watch movies. Preferably horror, comedy, or romance. I also like video games, and I play a little piano..... But..... I haven't really touched a controller or piano in a long time." I gave him a partial frown. "Why not?" He asked me. I didn't want to be a party pooper and get into it about my parents, and how I was forced to live with my aunt. I hesitated, as I was going to tell him anyway, Evan interrupted. "That! Is a harsh subject that we can discuss another time. Yeah?" He looked at me. I gave him a look to tell him "thank you" then I nodded. Alix jumped back into the conversation. "What kind of games do you like?" He asked me. "Uhm. Well. I like zombie stuff. Or things like Borderlands." I shrugged. "I know, I'm lame." I told him. "Nah, nah. You're good." He said back to me.

All five of us had been talking for about an hour now. At some point I zoned out and started to observe the room. It was so neat, so fancy. Eventually I zoned back in. I rubbed my stomach and frowned, looking to Evan. "Hungry?" Evan asked me. I nodded. "What do you want? I'll make it. I can make anything from fast food quality to gourmet 5 star restaurant." Evan gave me a cheesy smile. Kevin spoke, "What. Are you. Talking about? Evan you burn water!!" He said jokingly. I giggled. Evan looked at Kevin and gave him a smirk. Kevin turned to me, "I'm just kidding. He's a great cook."

Instead of asking for a decent dinner like a normal person would do, I begged Evan to bake two batches of chocolate chip cookies. "Cann you make cookies??" I asked Evan and gave him an innocent smile. "Cookies? Really?" He responded. "Pleeeaaassseeeee Evan?? Please??" I gave him a sad puppy dog face. "Okay. I'll make you some cookies." He said, giving in. I jumped up and hugged him, "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've been craving cookies all week!!" I said excitedly.

When the cookies were done, we all sat in the main room eating our cookies, laughing and talking about nonsense. I was already enjoying being here. It was getting late. I stood up, "I'm probably about to go back to the room guys. I need to unpack." I hugged all of them, and I kissed Evan's cheek. "Goodnight guys." I said. "Night!" They all called back to me.
