"Hello?"
"Patience?" I heard a females voice on the other end of the line. "Uhm. Yeah. Who is this??" I responded. "It's Sam. Look Patience I'm really sorry about everything that happened the last time we saw each other. And I'm sorry about Glen... but I really need you right now." I could hear her voice cracking like she was about to cry. I stood on the side of the road and crossed my arms, giving her words a thought. "Patience?? Please." she proceeded to say. I know she treated me like shit and all, but I mean, I can't just let her deal with her shit alone, I thought to myself. "Okay. I'll be there in a few." I told her as I hung up the phone.

I got to Sam's house and noticed that the vehicles weren't there. Her parents must be out, I thought. I knocked on her door and she opened it. She leaned in for a hug, "thank you so much for coming, I really needed you." I gave her a half hug back and stepped into the house. When I looked up I saw him. "Sam. What is he doing here?!" I asked her. "Oh my God Patience, chill. It's cool." she said to me. "No Sam. No, it is not 'cool'. You know damn well. You know everything that happened to me. Why the fuck would you let him in your home. Why would you invite me here with him in your home... You're not even upset are you?! This was one huge set up!! Well I'm not doing it tonight Sam. You have officially fucked up. I don't even know why I put up with your ass this whole time anyways." I turned to open the door, but she got in my way. "No Patience. You're not leaving. Maybe if you just sat down and talked to him you'd learn he's changed. Maybe he wasn't good enough for you, but I'm happy with William." She told me. My jaw dropped. "You're dating him?!?! Are you fucking stup- No. No. You know what. Fine. Date him. Let him beat the shit out of you too. I'm fucking done. Now get the fuck out of my way." Just as I finished talking I heard Will speak, and I flinched. "Patience!! Wait. I really am sorry. I was fucked up. I really am different now. Please forgive me." I took a moment to breathe before shoving Sam out of the way and walking out of the house. As I was storming down the road I heard Will calling after me when he caught my wrist. "Let me go!!!" I screamed at him. "Patience please. I really am sorry for hurting you all those times." He was gripping my wrist. "Yeah, well, if you were really so fucking sorry you wouldn't grip the fuck out of my wrist. You're hurting me." I tried to pull away, but he gripped my wrist tighter and pulled me towards him. I yelped. "William!! Let me go!!" He completely ignored me. "Patience you know I still love you. I didn't mean to hurt you darling. You mean the world to me, but you still know that you could never do better than me. So please come back." He tried to force a kiss on me when I pushed him away and snapped back, "Fuck off!! I did find somebody better than you, so why don't you go be with Sam. You two are fucking perfect for each other!!" And with that I stormed away.

When I got close to my house I called Evan. Come on, pick up. I got to my front yard and sat on the curb. "You've reached the voice mailbox o-" I hung up and tried again. "Hello?" I heard Evan's voice. "Thank fucking God Evan!!!" I threw my head back. "Is everything alright? Are you okay?" He asked me. "Evan can you please come pick me up until Glen's funeral? I know I said I wanted to stay here for this week, but I really miss you guys. Plus, everything around here is fucked. Even the people." I told him. "Uhhh. Yeah, I'll be there in a little bit sis. I love you." he said. I went inside and got all of my stuff, and the box I found in my parents' closet. I sat outside in the grass and waited for Evan.

"Thank you so much for coming to get me." I told Evan as I got in his car. "Of course sis. Everything alright?" he asked me. "Yeah, I'm just tired. I'd rather be with you guys right now." I told him. I stayed quiet the whole ride there. When we got back, Evan helped me carry my bags to the door. "Hey guys, you mind opening the door for me??" I saw the door open just before I was tackled with hugs from everyone. "I missed you guys so much!! You have no idea!!" I told all of them at the same time. I found myself actually smiling for the first time since I had last been here. Alix took the rest of my bags from me and carried them in. "So, I'm sure you guys want to spend time with me, but I'm going to go get my room situated again. I'll be out later." I picked up all of my things and carried them down the hallway to my room. I pulled out my clothes and folded them, then put them neatly in the dresser drawers. I organized the rest of my things, and I put all of my toiletries in the bathroom. When almost everything was put away I sat down on the bed and grabbed the box. I heard a knock on the door and it made me jump. "Patience? Can I come in?" It was Kevin. "Yeah." I pushed the box to the side as he opened the door, shutting it behind him. "Hey Kevin, what's up?" I asked him. He sat across from me on the edge of my bed. "Uh. Well." He gave me a nervous laugh. "I kinda just really need to tell you something." He said nervously. "Okay. Well. What is it?" I asked him. His eyes shifted over to the box. "What's that?" He asked me. "This is a box that I found in my parents' closet.", I paused as I picked it up, "I haven't had the chance to see what was in it yet." I told him. "You wanna' open it?" He asked me. I thought for a moment. "Yeah."
I lifted the lid with Kevin and I both leaning over the box. "Oh my god" I softly whispered.
