Dedicated to my bestie in real life, Esmerenciana (Ciana) Lovelace. Love ya!!!

I'm Lindsay, just your ordinary girl... Or so I thought. Before we get into the good stuff, let me tell you a bit about myself: I'm in 7th grade, I'm 13, my best friends name is Ciana, I have one big brother (Josh, he's 15), and my mom and my dad, and my Australian shepherd Aussie. I think that's about it. But wait, there's one more thing.... But you'll find out soon enough.
I'd just gotten home from a long drowsy day of school and I was lying on my bed about to fall asleep. I felt a buzz underneath me and realized I was laying on my phone. I arched my back and reached underneath me to grab my phone. It was a text from Ciana: (C: Ciana, L: Lindsay)

C: Hey wanna go to the forest behind your house?
L: Sure
C: okay good lol cya
L: K cya

I swung my leg of the bed followed by the other, and got out. I changed into my shorts and a pink "sleep" crop top. I slipped my phone into my pocket and walked down the stairs. My mom and dad already left for work since they both work in a hospital. I grabbed a pop tart from the pantry and nibbled the edge to eat the jelly part last. I walked back into my room and opened Aussie's cage.
"Come on boy! Let's go outside and see auntie Ciana!!" I said in "baby talk". Aussie just barked his approval, and we walked outside. I grabbed the tennis ball sitting next to the door and wiped the slobber from yesterday's playing on my shorts. "Yuck Aussie, why is your mouth so slobbery?" I gripped the ball tighter in my hand and ran across my green grassy yard into the woods. I got to the big oak tree that we climb on and meet at, with nobody but Aussie in sight. "Ciana?" I was expecting a reply but got none. "Ciana?!" I heard rustling and before I could bat an eyelid I felt someone grab the back of my shirt and I let out a high pitched scream. "Let go-" I turned around to see Ciana who had fallen on the ground laughing. "You s-should... Oh my god y-your face!!!" She stuttered.
"Oh my lord Ciana don't scare me like that!! You scared the holy 'S' out of me!!" I said starting to laugh.
"You screamed like a wolf got you!" She babbled.
"Did not!" I retorted.
"Oh yeah you did! You should have seen your face!" She yelled playfully. "ANYWAYS, what do you want to talk about?" I said, my anger fading.
"Imagine if we were wolves, roaming through the forests, hunting down elk... Don't judge!" She said.
"I'm not judging, I'm as obsessed with Wolves as you are!! I wish I was a wolf..." I closed my eyes and started imagining running with a wolf pack through a forest. I opened my eyes and looked at Ciana. She had the most shocked and horrified expression on her face, I couldn't even start to explain it. She was looking at my rear, as I said, "What is it a snake?"
"O-oh... M-m-my.... G-g-g-God....." She stuttered.
I looked down and saw something I was not expecting. Not a snake, nor a bug, but something more horrifyingly amazing than that...
