Chapter 11- Double date

Lindsay's POV
I felt something magical when we kissed it was... I can't even explain it. He- okay, I won't go into detail on my first kiss.
"Oooooh... Lindsay and Adam sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!" I heard Ciana yell, and Adam and I broke away very suddenly. We both blushed as we processed what she said. Ciana and Jacob high fived each other and smiled.
"Wow, just wow, ruining my first kiss Ciana... Tsk tsk tsk..." I said pointing my index finger at her accusingly.
"Yeah, what's up with that, dude?!" Adam said loudly and started running at Jacob.
"Hey, hey, HEY!" Jacob yelled, letting go of Ciana and running back to the river. Me and Ciana laughed for a while, then ran to catch up with the boys.
They were talking with our backs to us, right next to the river. Literally a couple inches away. We looked at each other and winked. We were thinking the same thing and took the chance.
We snuck up behind them, and pushed them into the river!
But, that didn't work quite as planned.
Apparently they heard us, but pretended not too. As soon as our hands made contact with their backs, they turned around, grabbed us by the waists, and threw us in. They were really strong, I thought I could see their biceps through their shirts- never mind... Anyways, me and Ciana looked at each other and she yelled, "Help, we can't swim!" She yelled in the most, scared tone.
Adam and Jacob looked at each other with their jaws to the ground. They looked at us, and took off their shirts to jump in. I almost stopped flailing my arms after seeing them with their shirts off! Especially Adam, he was just... Okay, I keep getting off topic.
They jumped in, and we pushed them under playfully, and when they came back up Ciana and I said, "Kidding!!" In sync. We splashed around for a while, then we climbed out. Adam, with his shirt still off, walked behind me and squeezed out my hair. I mumbled a quiet, "thanks" and smiled at him.
Jacob did the same for Ciana.
"Hey, we should go on a double-date, and get froyo!" Jacob said while looking at the rest of us.
"Okay!" Adam, Ciana, and I said in unison.
"I'll get a shower, then we can go?" I asked.
"Okay." Adam said, "Text me when you are ready, and Ciana will text Jacob."
"K" I said.
Adam put his shirt back on, and gave me a kiss on a cheek, before parting ways for a little bit.
I got home and saw mom and dad pacing the room.
They both almost tripped as their eyes widened and ran to me. I forgot how I was gone for 3 days.
"Oh my god honey where were you?" My mom said softly while hugging me, breathing into my hair.
"What were you doing?!" My dad said, almost yelling.
"Mike!" My mom said towards my dad.
"I- me and Ciana saw a deer, a-and, I tried to take a picture of it and we followed it, and we got lost. Are you mad? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get lost... We just-" I started stuttering, acting sad. Acting.
"Honey, of course we aren't mad! We are just glad you're home!" She said and hugged me again, after releasing her tight grip on my shoulders. She let go after a few seconds and my dad hugged me even more tightly.
"Thanks, I love you." I said softly.
"I love you too." They both said in sync.
I started walking to the shower after smiling innocently at both of them.
I took a long shower to get all the river-muck out of my hair.
I got out, dried off, and got dressed.
I walked back into the living room and my mom and dad were sitting on the couch watching TV.
"I'm going to go get frozen yogurt with Ciana, and a couple other friends from school." I said while I was walking to the front door.
"Okay sweetie, be safe" She said while watching Survivors, and I hadn't noticed until now that my dad was asleep.
"Okay I will." I yelled back, leaving the house.
I texted Adam, and we all met up at "The Ice", the frozen yogurt place about a half mile from my house.
"Hey, Lin." Adam said while smiling at me.
"Lin?" I asked.
"Yeah, can I call you Lin? It's just short for Lindsay, and cute couples all give each other nicknames." He smirked.
"Ok, then can I call you... Um... Bear." I stuttered out.
"Why bear?" He asked, looking at me confused.
"I don't know, it sounds cute." I said, and 'booped' his nose.
"Aww. Ok then I'll call you... Pup." He replied and booped my nose back.
"Guys hurry up lets go get FROYO!" Ciana said, suddenly realizing how long we took to talk.
We got inside, Adam and I holding hands, and I scanned the room. In the back corner, I saw something I didn't expect to see, but wasn't surprised to see it. Josh was in the back shoving his tongue down Veronica's throat, making me gag silently.
Adam saw it too, along with my not-so-hidden reaction, "Just you wait, until you enjoy it when we do that-"
I cut him off saying, "Oh my god Adam, eww!" while punching his arm. "Pervert" I muttered under my breath.
"What did you call me, Pup?" He said looking at me with his beautiful brown eyes.
"Nothing." I said, breaking our eye contact.
"I'm kidding!" He said and gave me a peck on the lips.
I pretended to be mad, with my arms folded.
"Aw come on babe I was kidding." He said pleadingly.
"Fine. But you're buying froyo!" I said and kissed him back.
"I know, I know."
So it turns out we both like chocolate frozen yogurt, so we got a big container, and put layers of toppings, and shared it. Ciana and Jacob shared a vanilla one, also with loads of toppings.
Adam walked me home and said to me at my door step, "meet me in the woods tomorrow. Text me."
"Ok I will." I said back.
He kissed my forehead before saying bye and walking home.
I walked into the house and saw my mom in one of those poses by the window, like someone said to her 'Just act normal!'.
Because she was watching me and Adam from the time we got onto our property.
She looked at me and said, "Well who is that handsome young man?" She said in a sing-song voice.
