Chapter 12- Text

"A friend." I said quietly, trying to hide my blush.
My mom was pretty laid back about some things, so she shouldn't mind Adam.
"Come sit down honey." She said, patting next to her on the couch, motioning for me to sit next to her.
"Ok, talk. He seems like more than 'a friend'" she said while smiling softly, after I sat next to her.
"Okay," I sighed. "We met in the woods, along with his friend, and he saved me and Ciana, and helped us find our way out of the woods."
"He's pretty cute." She said quietly.
"I know." I said looking up.
"Alright you need to get ready for bed, it's pretty late." She said and got up, to get ready herself.
"Ok." I said and got up also. "Where's dad? And Josh?" I asked.
"They went to the store." She said still walking to her room.
"Oh." I said but paused and said, "Mum."
"Yes?" She asked, turning around.
"I um... Adam, asked me to be his g-girlfriend...." I stuttered out, blushing.
"Really?!" She squealed. "Oh my gosh your first boyfriend, Lindsay this is amazing! You are with the boy who saved your life, literally!" She was nearly jumping up and down while hugging me.
"I know. He is amazing." I said to her.
"Okay, okay, time for bed!" She said, not trying to hide her smile.
"Okay, I'm off." I said walking to my room.
I got into my room and saw Aussie laying in my bed.
"Aussie!" I practically yelled and ran to hug him.
He started barking as I heard a voice in my mind, 'you smell like a wolf Linny.'
"What?" I asked aloud, my heart rate speeding up.
'I said, you smell like a wolf.'Aussie looked at me.
"Oh my god." I said out loud.
'Wait, you can understand me?' Aussie said, in my mind.
"HOW ARE YOU IN MY HEAD??" I whisper shouted.
'I DON'T KNOW BUT THIS IS AMAZING.' He said happily, and jumped up to lick my face.
'Can you hear me?' I asked in my mind, somehow it was directed to Aussie.
'Crystal clear.' He said.
'Ok, I need to get to bed' I said to him.
'Fine.' He sighed.

I changed into my pj's, I wore a pair of pink shorts and a blue tank-top.
I got into bed and hid under the covers to play on my phone.
About 15 minutes into playing on my phone- everyone was home and in bed- I heard a knock on my window.
How could someone be knocking on my window, it's the second story...
I got up and stretched, and walked to the window. I pushed the curtains aside and opened the window.
I gasped, "Adam! What are you doing here? How did you get up here? Get in here, you could hurt yourself!"
He chuckled as he said, "One: I didn't hurt myself, Two: I would risk my life? Or broken bones for you." He smirked as he kissed me lightly.
"Aww." I said.
'Who is this?' Aussie asked me.
'This is Adam, my mate and my boyfriend.
"Um, are you two gonna stare at each other for an hour or what?" Adam asked. I must have looked really stupid sitting there, staring at a dog, making facial expressions.
'I'm Aussie, Linny's dog. And if you hurt her, I rip you to shreds.' Aussie said to both me and Adam nonchalantly, but meant for Adam. Adam's eyes went huge.
'Okay, okay.' Adam said in what I think is called "telepathy" to both of us.
"ADAM" I said out loud, making him jump a little. 'We can telepathically talk to each other from across a room! Isn't this cool?!' I said to him in my mind.
'Heck yeah.' he responded.
'I'm gonna go eat.' Aussie said and walked away from the room.
'Okay.' Both me and Adam said at the same time.
"You're adorable in those short shorts, Pup." He smirked looking at my bare thighs.
"Oh my god Adam, what is wrong with you?" I said laughing, while pulling my shorts down more to cover up my thighs a little more.
"You are what's wrong with me." He said softly.
I snapped my head to look at him.
"No, no, no... I didn't mean it like that! I meant that you changed my life Lindsay. I love you." He said quickly, cupping my cheek.
"I love you too Bear." I said after I kissed him back.
"You should probably leave, my parents and my brother might see you." I said reluctantly.
"But I only just got here." He fake pouted.
"Fine." I said hiding my smile. We can sleep for an hour," I said as I set an alarm on my phone for one hour.
"Can I please sleep w-" he started.
"And yes, you can sleep with me."
"Yay!" He said in a high pitched voice.
I laughed and lightly punched him as I said, "Hush! My parents are in the house!!!"
"Okay, okay, geez pup." He said rubbing his arm, fake hurt.
He climbed into bed after me and started twirling my hair.
"How long have you been a werewolf?" I asked, snuggling deeper against him.
"Not long, maybe 3 weeks," He said, sniffing my hair. "You smell nice."
"I could say the same." I said while grabbing his shirt and taking in his lavender cologne smell.
"This would be so weird if we weren't werewolves." He said.
"I know right." I said and laughed still leaning my head on him.
"I love you, Pup." He said.
"I know, and I love you too." I said back.
I almost drifted off to sleep as my alarm scared the holy heck out of me.
"I guess it's been an hour." I said rubbing my eyes. "You have to go, Bear."
"I don't wanna gooooo." He said and grabbed my waist, kissing me.
"Adam you have to go, I'm sorry baby." I said, blushing as my name for him came out of my mouth.
"Aww fine." He said pinching my nose, then groaned getting out of bed.
"Can you climb down from the window?" I asked worriedly.
"I thought you said that that was dangerous." He smirked, twirling my dark brown curly hair around his index finger.
"I know but, there's an alarm set and if any of the windows or doors downstairs are open, the cops will be called, and I don't want that to happen." I said.
"But-" he started with a cocky smile but I cut him off.
"And my dad will freak if he knows a boy was in my room, and he will think we were... You know..." My tone of voice faded out and my cheeks heated up.
He looked puzzled, then his eyes went wide, "Oh...." He said and started to climb out the window.
When he was on the ground, I called out quietly, "Love you, Bear."
"Love you too... Repunzel." He smirked.
"Repunzel?" I asked confused.
"You know, I climbed through your window?" He said and rubbed the back of his head.
"Ok, bye, Night In Shining Armor." I said with a smile plastered on my face

|Next morning|
I got up and rubbed my eyes for Monday at school. Yay. Did you hear the sarcasm?
I swung my legs out of bed and stretched, yawning.
I walked to the mirror and inspected myself. I saw all my flaws in my face. I had acne, kind of-chubby cheeks, frizzy/curly hair, and always chapped lips. How did someone as good-looking as Adam fall for me?
Just after I thought that to myself, I received a text from Adam.
A- good morning, gorgeous 😘
L- morning *yawn*
A- aww is my wittle baby sweepy?💤
L- well I just woke up sooooo yeah
L- I gtg see you tonight
A- wait I forgot to tell you, I transferred to your school 😄😄
L- really? Why?
A- for you, Pup
L- aww
L- I gtg shower sorry
A- can I hop in with ya? 😏
L- OMG BEAR U PERVERT
A- OK OK BYE
L- love you
A- love you too pup

I hopped into the shower, smiling to myself like a fool, and started to cleanse myself. I felt the water running down my back and opened my shampoo bottle. I coughed immediately as the fruity scent overwhelmed me.
"Holy crap that's strong...." I mumbled to myself.
I started to think while I was showering. Becoming a werewolf must have heightened my senses, and abilities....
"I'm awesome!" I said aloud, quietly, and somehow I was jealous of myself.
