Lindsay's POV
After our long howl, we sat on our haunches, sides heaving. Ciana looked down at the dead body of her former mate and let out a whine. She got up and laid with her head on his chest. We both lay next to him questioning what just happened. All was silent until a loud bang, and came footsteps on the cold, hard ground. We jumped up and looked towards the door, seeing a pack of wolves padding slowly towards us. I lowered my head and ears in a threatening stance, and Ciana stood up and did the same.
The black male wolf at the front, most likely the Alpha, picked up his pace and circled us. "So you think you can get away, do you? Well, dear, that won't be happening." He smirked as the other wolves growled and snickered.
"Leave us alone." I growled slowly, and walked steadily towards him.
He jumped at me and snarled, "Jacob will be Alpha!"
Everything was quiet again as I dodged his attack, lurching to the side. I could only hear the others' slow, shallow breathing.
I broke the silence, "Jacob won't be Alpha of anything, unless he is an Alpha in hell."
The wolf looked at me, and I pointed to the motionless corpse of Jacob. He looked from me to the dead teenager, back and forth.
"What have you done?" He scoffed.
"What's best for my pack."
"Your pack?"
"My pack." I growled, stepping towards him once again.
He lunged but I dodged once again, whipping around and grabbing his tail as he shifted. He yelped and nipped my flank. I bit down on his tail harder, shaking my head, tearing his tail-flesh and drawing blood. He snarled and I jumped back beside Ciana. I felt the warm flood dripping from my muzzle, as he tried to hide the quiver and pain of his tail. I let out a sudden howl, that severely intimidated the wolf pack that was allied with Jacob.
Ciana lunged forward and grabbed the Alpha's front leg, and he grabbed Ciana's scruff trying to throw her off.
The other wolves were stalking towards us slowly, so I scanned the surroundings to find something to keep them away. I finally came to a decision, and I ran to the doorway, and closed the door. I shoved boxes in front quickly to keep them out. They threw themselves at the door to make it give way, but it wasn't working.
I ran back to Ciana and I saw blood dripping down her silver back. I jumped forwards and grabbed the Alpha's other front leg. He stumbled forward, and Ciana and I managed to get him into his back. I crawled on top of him and had a sudden idea. I smirked and he stopped struggling. Ciana seemed to catch on, so she backed up a bit. I cringed as I licked his muzzle softly, trying to seduce him, and weaken him. I licked his neck, and I felt his tail hitting my hind legs as he wagged it. He closed his eyes and I put my muzzle by his ear, "You think you're the smart one?" I growled and I bit his throat, and he immediately went limp.
Several whines, growls, and snarls erupted from the other morbid pack.
We all froze as we heard howls from outside, and wolves came running in, snarling and baring their teeth.
"Lindsay!" One of them yelled, and I recognized it as Adam.
"Adam!" I barked back, getting excited. Now is no time to get excited, it's time to fight back, I told myself. I moved the boxes and let all the wolves in. My pack stood on one side, the rival pack, the other side. Adam walked to stand beside me, and nuzzled me softly. I returned it, keeping one eye on the other pack.
Adam slowly turned his head towards Jacob, and lowered his head.
"You all need to surrender and leave. And don't even think about getting close to my Luna ever again." Adam snarled loudly.
His threat didn't phase the other pack, in fact, they charged and all started lunging at eachother.
I leaped sideways as a muscular brown female wolf pounced towards me, aiming for my leg. She skidded past me and I bit her back. She turned and bit down on my forepaw. I yelped, letting go of her. She snarled and bit down on my muzzle. I opened my mouth and grabbed her ear, she tore away from me, half of her ear in my mouth still. I spit it out and I watched the blood drip around her eyes. I growled and lunged towards her. She jumped also and pinned me to the ground, holding her paw on my throat. I felt everything going dark as I felt the pressure release from my throat. I opened my eyes and saw Adam fighting the female. He bit her one of her front legs, making her wobble. I leaped back to my feet and knocked into her, making her fall to the ground. I pinned her, but she wiggled free, whining and limping out of the cell. I saw Ciana fighting a thin male. She had the male pinned against the wall, her fur glimmering with blood. I started sprinting towards them, ignoring the searing pain in my paw. I was only a yard away as someone hit me from the side, and I went flying into the wall. I hit my head and stumbled to the ground. The sound died down, as many wolves raced towards me. At one point I heard no sounds at all, and I just saw the wolves fading around me.
