As I told Johnson we waited till later that night when it was dinner time.

"Hey Donté shouldn't we feed that Dylan kid. I mean he won't exactly answer anything if we starve him." I carefully ask setting down my piece of pepperoni pizza.

"That's the point. If he gets hungry he will get desperate." Jackson, a kid in the gang says.

"Yeah well what if I get him to trust me...I bet he will answer." I say trying to sound more confident than I was. Donté sits in silence his eyes glued on the TV. I mentally cross my fingers.

"You think you can get him to talk G?" He asks looking at me.

"Yes sir. Or die trying." I say. He waves me off.

"I'm taking Johnson for protection." I say standing up. No response. Johnson shrugs and follows me.

We head through the hideout Johnson carrying a paper plate with two slices of pizza.

"So what's the plan?" Johnson asks.

"I haven't figured it out yet." I shrug as we turn a corner and arrive at the cell. I grab the key off the hook and carefully unlock the door. I open the dimly lit room to see Dylan untied and sitting with his back against the wall. He looks up as we enter, Johnson shutting the door being him.

"Oh goodie you brought me food." Dylan laughs.

"Look Dylan all we want is answers." I say calmly.

"I didn't give your boss answers, so why should I give you any?" Dylan asks.

"Cause we know more than our boss does." Johnson says.

"Oh now I'm intrigued." Dylan shakes his head amused.

"Look we know he's going to Emmetsville." I lower my voice in case someone's listening. Dylan's head jerk towards me quickly.

"How-"

"We also know he's after Kian Lawley's sister Kenzie." Johnson interrupts.

"Well well well someone's not as DUMB as they look." Dylan mocks.

"Look Dylan we just want to know why he's going after Kenzie." I say.

"You guys are smart you figure it out."he shrugs.

"Why can't you tell us?" Johnson asks.

"Cause then I'd have to die." Dylan shrugs.

"Donté s gonna kill you anyway." I say. "What's the difference?"

Dylan doesn't answer he just stares at the wall.

"Forget it. Let's go." I say turning to leave.

"Dylan....we aren't the bad guys here..."Johnson says.

I stop as Dylan says,

"Give me the pizza."

I turn and watch Johnson walk over and hand him the plate. He takes it and hungrily dives into his food.

"This is amazing. Jc never let us have this stuff." He mumbles his mouth full of greasy pizza.

"So...will you help us?" I ask.

"I'll give you a clue." He says looking up at me.

"A clue?!" I ask pissed. How the hells a clue gonna help us?

"G, chill." Johnson says using my initial. "What's the clue?" He asks Dylan.

"We heard about a good recruit....a kid who used to be close to Kenzie but stuff happened to where they are no longer friends....that's JCS way in." Dylan says.

"Way in? Way into what?" I ask confused.

"To kill Kenzie of course. JC and Kian and Donté have faced off before." Dylan says causing Johnson and I to look at each other.

"You guys are in a gang and barely know your leader? Damn..." Dylan laughs.

"We know our leader. We dont know kian and JCs problems with each other." I cross my arms.

"JCS got a plan..." Dylan says finishing his first slice of pizza.

"And kian?" Johnson asks.

"Used to be friends with JC who used to be friends with Donté." Dylan says already halfway through his second piece.

"So why'd they all stop being friends?" I ask.

"You figure it out. I've told you all I'm gonna tell you." Dylan says holding up his empty plate. Johnson takes it and we leave.

"So..."johnson asks throwing the plate away and zipping up his jacket ad we head outback to think.

"So jc, kian, and Donté used to be friends how they hate each other and run 3 seperate gangs that want to kill each other." I recap.

"And JC has a plan to kill Kenzie...but we don't know why he wants to kill her." Johnson adds.

"Probably has something to with the fact that Kian and JC hate each other. So they are going to recruit someone close to Kenzie as their way in." I say opening the back door.

"So now we have to figure out why they hate each other and who the new recruit is." Johnson says as I step through the door and stop seeing a strange girl with her back to us. I quickly pull my gun as Johnson pulls his.

"Hey!" I call out my gun raised ready to fire.

"Turn around." Johnson commands as the girl raises her hands. She slowly turns my breathe gets taken away and my heart speeds up.

"Hello Jack." She smiles.

"Who is she G?" Johnson asks confused.

"My ex girlfriend...Donté s sister..."
