Part 18 - Late

*****STEF'S P.O.V.*****
Fuck! I'm 10 seconds late. Great now I have to apologize. To be honest though I don't really care. I'm only late because I as trying to make Kendra feel better.

"Great the fag is late now we have to wait for her to get done." A kid yelled from the back of the class.

"Hey! I don't want to hear that again." The teacher yelled from her desk. "10 seconds late, 10 times." She said.

I walked to the front of the class. "Je suis desolei detruh en retard." I say 10 times.

I sat back down. The rest of the class was super pissed at me being late. I don't really care I have other things to worry about.

Second and third hour went by so slow. The good thing is there weren't any homophobic comments, which was weird.

The bell rang. I walked out of the class room. "STEF WAIT UP!" I hear someone yell. I turn around to see who it is. Oh thank god its it's Kendra.

"Hey, what's up?" I ask as she gets closer to me.

"Want to eat lunch with my friend Jack and I?" Wow she used proper grammer. That just made her even cuter. Wait Stef stop. You can't keep thinking about her like that she probably doesn't even like you like that.

"Yeah, why not." I say smiling.

"Great follow me." She says. She seems happy. Maybe she got over Karen...yeah probably not. She was cheated on she wouldn't just get over it. Who does that? Crazy people that's who. Well and physcopaths considering they really don't feel empathy or compassion. Like that guy. I hate that guy. I want to kill him...wait I already did. I laughed at the fact that I actually killed him.

*****KENDRA'S P.O.V.*****

Stef's face went really dark for a second. Then she laughed and she was back. She must have been in a deep thought or something. "Hey, you okay?" I ask her.

"Yeah I'll tell you about it later." She says which is a little weird. The way she said it told me it wasn't something good.

*****STEF'S P.O.V.*****

Kendra is wondering what I'm thinking about. She is so cute when she's confused. Okay Stef you need to stop that. You can do this you need to get over your crush.

"Stef this is Jack. Jack this is Stef." Kendra says as she introduces us.

"Hey." I said. With no emotion.

"Hey." He said back matching my tone. He seems cool. He doesn't seem too perky.

"So can you tell me what you were laughing about now? It's technically later." Kendra says.

"If I tell you, you have to promise to not hate me." I say. I can't lose a friend. I can't lose Kendra.

"Umm..." She hesitates.
