Waking up on the ground, your brain still in shock and doesn't know the pain your in. Looking up towards the sky at those white fluffy clouds you try to move but you can't seem to. In your peripherals you can't see your car then you remember you weren't alone. "Cas?" You say barely above a whisper. Taking in a deep breath you let out a louder, "Castiel!" That hurt beyond words.
Something didn't feel right inside you after that yell. A series of warm and cold spots jolt through your body. It seemed the more your heart pumped the more your body hated you. Pressing your luck you moved your hand to your forehead and that's when you felt the pieces of glass lodged in your skull. That's when you see back to the deer that jumped out in the road and you yanking the wheel. That damn tree came out of nowhere.
Suddenly you hear steps and Castiel comes into view. He kneels next to you and you hiss as he slides his arm under your head. "I'm sorry," he whispers out. You take his hand, "its okay," you try to give a reassuring smile. His two fingers come up to your forehead and nothing happens. His lips quivers, "no... about everything." "Shhh," you look into his eyes, "its okay Cas. I promise." Feeling colder you can't feel your legs anymore.
"No, no, no. You can't leave me, not like this." He pulls you into his lap and pushes the hair from your face. You hold on with your left because you can't feel your right anymore. "I wish I was still an angel," there is guilt and pain in those words. "You're my angel and nothing will ever change that." He rubs the back of your hand and you look at him in these last precious moments. "Come up and see me sometime. Just don't make it too soon." He gives you a little half smile, "promise." Closing your eyes with his smile and piercing eyes as your last image.
