I woke up in my bed. I turned onto my side and next to me was Marshall, asleep.
I quietly got out of my bed and went into the bathroom and changed into a dark blue skirt and a light blue shirt with sleeves that came down to my elbows.
I brushed my hair quickly and put on my bunny hat. I walk out of the bathroom and go to pick up my backpack but a now awake Marshall beats me to it.
"Where are you going?" Marshall asks, tilting his head to the side as he held my bag out of my reach.
"To a place," I say, jumping up to try and get my bag back.
"What for?" Marshall raises an eyebrow.
"To try and find my parents," I say bluntly and without hesitation this time.
"Oh," Marshall hands me the back pack and I put it on with a sigh.
"Then let me come with you," Marshall looks at me.
"You know that I'm going out of Aaa. Probably far away from Aaa, to look for my human parents, who might be a little scared if they see a vampire with me?" I look at Marshall and raise an eyebrow.
"So? They'll love me. I promise I wont bite," Marshall grins and I let out a defeated sigh.
"Fine. You can come.. I'll leave a note for Cake." I get a piece of paper and say I'm going on an adventure with Marshall. I put the piece of paper on the table downstairs and Marshall grabs his axe-bass and and his umbrella and floats outside.
I follow after him, closing the door behind me and thus, our adventure begins.
